Your Beta was a lot of fun.
I love how you build your bases, the commanders powers tree and how you upgrade things. However I would like a few changes.

  1. Change one. I would like to be able to put my units in formations. Currently it is like moving a group of rioters rather than an army. For example wolverines should travel behind scorpion tanks and cyclopes in front of scorpion tanks.
  2. Change two. I would like fog of war to be more realistic. What you currently see is good but I would like line of site should be added so that if units are not hidden behind something we should see a shadow of enemy units. For example currently I can have a group of marines near a base with a straight away to it but far enough away that it is invisible in the fog. With what I would like the front line of that group of marines would be darker shadows within the fog.
  3. Change three. I would like it if the unit cap had more upgrades. Your starting unit cap should be like forty and each upgrade should go up by units of twenty with one hundred being the max.
  4. Change four. This only applies to online play but I would like it if when you loose your team mate because of connection error that you gain a higher unit cap in order to have a chance at winning.
    These are things I would like and hope you implement them.

Yes! I agree a lot with this post, especially about the unit formations! I have a feeling that some of these things will be tweeked and implemented, such as the unit caps and such, since this is only a beta (preview). And I really agree with #4! I had a ton of games that I played that my partner bowed out, and while I appreciate the ability to do so in a long game (life intervenes sometimes), the player left should be allowed something to help them finish the game, like the higher unit cap you suggested!

Overall, my husband and I have had fun playing the new beta. We were not as excited about the Domination play setting, and prefer the Deathmatch, but it was neat to experience more than one game play type. We will be purchasing the new Halo Wars 2 and can’t wait to see the full version and all the extras included that are not in the beta.
