Play one game of the Halo Wars 2 Beta and receive a free Gold REQ pack in Halo 5. Complete five games total in the HW2 Beta to receive two more free Gold REQ packs. I wasn’t aware of this until after I started playing the Halo Wars 2 Beta, but it’s a nice incentive.

I noticed there was a counter for ten games on the first day the Beta was released but it seems to have been removed. Do you know what significance completing 10 games has?
It gives you a rank ingame. So if you complete 10 and did really good, you might get a diamond rank or platinum rank. It lets the game match you up with people along the same skill level as you. You get no extra req packs after the first 3 req packs.

I’ve only had one win out of five so far, but it would be cool to see how I rank. Thanks for the info!
I haven’t been able to play a single game, due to it freezing on the multiplayer menu every time.
I hope we don’t get exclusive stuff in the proper game for playing the beta, as I’ll miss out.

I’ve had a lot of problems with the beta freezing too. Keep trying at different times if you can. I had to quit several times last night and go back to the game later before I was able to compete 5 games without it freezing up on me. Good luck!

Have you tried a hard reset? It worked for me. I used to freeze on the start screen and the tutorial.

You don’t have to win to get the REQ packs, just complete five games. You can finish them quickly if both you and your teammate recycle your buildings at the start. That is if you are only trying to get the Gold REQ packs as fast as possible.
So I went tp play Halo 5 today, after playing maybe 15-20 games of the Beta, and I had 10 Gold REQ Packs??
I also already claimed the 3 free ones, so possibly theres an incentive for playing more games?!
Will play as many Beta games as I can, and see if I get any more…
Too many freezes to care. I’m sure the game could’ve been more stable.
