Lets talk about the API and the next Halo release, namely Halo Wars 2.

Do you think we’ll see data made available for HW2 like we have for Halo 5? The current implementation of the API is called ‘Public API [Beta] for Halo 5: Guardians’ but there is clearly an allowance for future games (everything currently requires the ‘h5’ parameter).

If it was at all possible, it would be amazing to be able to look at data from the current open beta. Might be asking a bit much :slight_smile:

I’d love to see what people thoughts are and what kind of data they would like to query. Match history, rankings, leader boards, etc.

It’d be cool if people could analyse things like build order and where people expand to, in order to find out which strategies are the most used and which are the most successful based on win rate.
You could also ‘profile’ a player using that data, so that before a match you can enter their Gamertag and it analyses their previous matches then tells you what units they usually build, when they usually attack, and so on.

Thats the first thing that came to my head anyhow.
