Anyone think it’d be a good idea for 343 to work on Halo Wars 2? If so, discuss ideas and possible plot here.
I would love to see a halo war 2, but I thought it could do better as an Xbox mmo… but I’m not a dev so I wouldn’t know.
I agree with above. It should at least be an FPSRTS. So then if you go in to a game with a party of 2, one controls the army and another exchanges characters they play as in FPS mode.
i don’t think there is going to be a halo wars 2, manly because the company who made the 1st one is out of busness.
As long as they nerf Spartan-Uber Units such as Spartan Grizzlies and Spartan Hawks and also nerf the power’s of the Leaders then I will be absolutely happy.

If it’s on PC then yes please, or else NO, halo wars was good/decent for being on the console but would’ve been so superior on the PC version. It’s a real shame that they never made it on PC. Of course if they made a half -Yoinked!- port then id rather not to have it at all.
I think being that Halo 4 will arrive before we see a Halo Wars 2 we could potentially see a Halo Wars 2 that featured more of a Forerunner influence and I have no idea where the story goes but I would be very excited if that find a way to make the Forerunner a 3rd playable race, keeping the UNSC and Covenant of the past intact aswell.
Also, if we take new ideas like ATLAS and Kinect and add them to a Halo Wars 2 we could have a fantastic array of options that make playing an RTS on a console much easier. For example, having voice commands that allow you to construct items in your base without having to scroll over to your base to do so. Or having a touch screen ATLAS that allows you to point and drag troops from one area to another.
I think I imagine some game where most of the playing happens on a touchscreen and using voice commands while you whitness the fantastic mayham on your TV screen (cross our fingers for 3D).
All far fetched? Probably, but man do I hold my fingers crossed.

I would buy Halo Wars 2 if it isn’t terrible.
Frankie hinted at HaloFest the Spirit of Fire may return in the Reclaimer Trilogy so I doubt we’ll see a Halo Wars 2 but we may seen those guys again.
Im almost sure Halo Wars will return, We all know Microsoft wants a Halo game every year but are not dumb enough to release Halo 4, 5, and 6 each year, so I’m guesing anytime before or between the new trilogy.
I wouldn’t mind it just with more units and free building. But with that said I don’t know who has the rights so unless 343i has them or the people who have them are nice about it don’t expect a game.
I would rather the original creators make Halo Wars 2 rather than 343.
I would love, love, love a Halo Wars 2. I loved Halo Wars and would love to see a sequel made. If you haven’t noticed, there’s a lot of love in this post.
If they did make Halo Wars 2 then I think it would be cool if it were like Star Wars Battlefront or Battlefield 1942 where you can choose a map and a class and fight the AI till the death in first person.
I think they should make it; they won’t sell as much as the FPS games but they’ll make a profit.
I would hope they would follow the story of the SoF. Then we could find out why they were declared “lost with all hands”,
this would be a perfect game to do a FPS RTS game. You can control your army… Then control your own guy. Spartan would be cool but ODST would be cool too. Hell you can mix a little bit of RPG in there too and upgrade your own guy like special speed, armor, and weppons. This can also upgrade your army too.
yessss… or at least tie in the story of the Spirit of Fire with the new Halo trilogy so its at least in SOME way relevant to anything
Yeah, I enjoyed Halo Wars so I’d like to see another one.
I always thought the “Ready for the Sequel” achievement would imply there is going to be a Halo Wars 2.
