Who else is getting a good laugh out of the new Halo Wars 2 ads?

Not enough of a laugh for me to buy the game.

They are funny, though.

I think they’re a reference to the Robert Downey Jr. version of Sherlock Holmes. Cutter pulls a Holmes and says what he’s going to do to win, and then Atrioch pulls a Moriarty and wins by going one step further. I liked the adds better after I made that connection.

I bought and installed the game, but so far have only gotten to play a few skirmishes which were allowed before the game finished downloading. Hopefully later this evening I’ll get to play through the first part of the campaign.

I love the Halo Wars 2 ads, they are funny as hell to watch.

The ads are funny AF to watch, and I love the fact that Atriox always gets the last laugh.

Just like the “Hunt the Truth” ads before Halo 5, they’re actually showcasing and foreshadowing the games after the game they’re advertised for, where Atriox gets the upper hand on Cutter. /s

Also, I totally thought you were referring to Halo Wars 2 “aiming down the sights” first hahaha.

Yeah, they are pretty funny.

I really enjoy them as well. Been seeing them pop up a bunch lately too, so it looks like the game is going to be getting a good amount of attention.
