If halo characters would fight against overwatch characters who would win? Why?
It would depend on which characters. If you had everyone from Overwatch against the same number of bodies for the Warden Eternal, I would place my bet on the Warden’s bodies, because it would be a team effort for the Overwatch characters to destroy each of the Warden’s bodies, but at the same time the plethora of Warden bodies would be obliterating Overwatch characters, exhausting their numbers and wiping them out before they could take down all of the Warden’s present bodies.
Shouldn’t this be like in some kind of off topic tread or something

Sadly universe vs threads are allowed to clutter the universe forum.
Just look at the star wars one that gets necro’d every couple months for the past like…5 years?
EDIT: Wow, it is almost 5 years old.
Halo characters. Luck is on their side.
Think it would depend on which characters.
Halo.
They would just glass Overwatch before they even recive the war declaration.
Be more specific
Although Halo is my favorite ever, I don’t even play Overwatch, but Overwatch would win. All those guys with those powers would be so overwhelming. But again, these powerful Halo guns vs these guys with not much armor, Halo could win too. Are we talking the same amount of marines as there are overwatch characters?
Does Overwatch have a counter to -angry frigate noises in the distance- ?
Ahahahahahah.
Your joking, right?
Like. Seriously joking.
This wouldnt even be fair.

No, friend. No it does not.
(What DOES an angry frigate sound like anyway)

Fairly certain they said Overwatch characters and Halo characters. Sooooo…the ragtag heroes of Overwatch vs. human monstrosities like Chief, Kelly, Linda, Fred, possibly some of the Sangheili, THE WARDEN ETERNAL…
Not that I wouldn’t MIND seeing Reaper try and kill Warden and the Warden’s just like “OH PLEASE” and Death-Ball’s him.
Junkrat vs Mickey.
Mickey is superior.
Halo characters definitely. I don’t even have to really say much. The elites can totally obliterate some of the more ‘normal’ humans hands down. Spartans would definitely destroy the OVW characters especially with their upgraded Everything. I don’t know much about OVW lore but I’m sure most of the upgrades the humans got in OVW were prosthetics (Reaper’s backstory is still ambiguous but I assume the most advanced thing that OVW has that Halo doesn’t is resurrection but we’re not sure and that really isn’t much). If you really wanna get into it then Halo-verse could just MAC gun em all, and if you want to go deeper: The Flood. Which isn’t to say that OVW characters won’t put up a fight, but at the end of the day OVW characters wouldn’t last.
Just set the Flood on them… Then we’ll see what happens! xD

Overkill much, I’d say XD

Thunder, maybe? Target might not even hear it as MAC rounds travel at supersonic speeds. That, or this (or this - warning to headphone users, there is a warning alarm at the start of the video), repeated about 450x-or-so in a short timeframe.
If there’s one thing UNSC frigates can do properly, it’s grid square removal service. 1500~ munitions on the wartime frigate classes, and the numbers only go up from there.

Szuradok Ridge, Reach.
“Covenant forces? WHAT Covenant forces”

Covenant had AAA emplacements everywhere, limiting air support. Though TBH that explanation falls short when one turns a critical eye to it - first emplacement could have been easily dealt with by those C712 Longswords that zipped overhead the second the Tyrant went dark - one might get shot down, but the other two would have been able to drop bombs on the T38 and thoroughly wreck it (that, or more sensibly, nail it with missiles from the cover of the cliff that was obscuring the Covie AAA emplacement’s line-of-sight).
After that, everything Covie in that desert ought to have died to Archer spam, but… I suppose they were saving the missiles in case they’re needed? 50mm autocannons will shred most anything that isn’t a Scarab or Lich, especially from top-down angles of attack. Still, a few of those Archers could have been expended on the second Tyrant site - eight should be sufficient to excavate the hill the T38 was positioned on into a crater.

Hit the back side with only one, cause a landslide that would do the rest for you. That section of rock can’t be all THAT stable, it looks like its mostly sandstone (from the coloration anyway, obviously I dont have the geological data on that part of Reach)…I mean, both of those guns WERE on cliffs. Gravity could have helped for sure.
And lets not even get started on what a MAC could do…
