Congrats, 343 you have broken the community. You have created a war WITHIN Halo. Halo vs. Halo: This war makes the covenant-Human war look like child’s play. Like I have said Congrats 343i well done so far and thanks to you it’s only going to get worse when Halo 4 drops, then we will have a three-way dogfight between the “Trilogy” Orginal Halo the “Reach” Halo… and the new Halo 4… the fanboys who will actually like the broken AA’s, Perks and Instant respawns CoD: Halo Crap. Well done.
Outlawed fans
343, why do you insist on dividing the community, I have no problem on adding new features to the game, Halo has always been doing from Halo CE to Halo 3. But why do you instantly outlaw the original gamers of Halo, by gutting and removing the core features. If Halo was truly evolving then EVERYBODY will be coming along. Getting the best of all the Halo games and making it one GREAT game, for all the fans whether you enjoy Halo CE of Reach the best. Halo 4 should reunite the fans together. But 343 are splitting it even more. And turning the Halo fans against us, and starting a war within Halo.
Halo 4 = Everyone
343, Please make Halo 4 for ALL fans, not just offer classic playlist ect. There should be no “Separate” Playlist for any fan. No fan should be alienated just because of what halo they enjoy the most. Halo 4 should be reuniting the Halo community once again and BUILDING from there. Not Outlawing loyal fans and doing you own thing, while HAVOC is in session. Please make Halo 4 for everyone. Only time will tell if you have.
EDIT: Yes, I am aware that some Halo fans have been split since Halo 2. but doesn’t mean that it’s ok for Halo 4 to split the fans even more. Outlawing & alienating even more fans. We cannot afford to have Halo 2/3.5 or Reach 2, 343i needs to end the war by creating a game that has the best of all halo games.

all i have to say to you is :
do you realize how far we as a civilization would be, if people could accept change. Evolution has come at a huge price, and truly evolving means change. People, in general do not like change. This is a fact.
Any change will bring on retaliation . so before you start talking like they’re running them out of town with guns and warrants. Do something people never do anymore, think!!!

It was broken shortly after Reach launched.
And it remains broken by both sides having a “My way or the highway attitude.”

Not when particular issues are pretty much mutually exclusive. Case in point: Bleedthrough.
This was going to happen even if they kept everything exactly the same. There was a change in the developer so people picked sides. Nothing anyone can do about this. Not 343i’s fault.
You are seriously overreacting and blowing this out of proportion. There is no war, there are no sides, there are just a few loudmouths trying to cause trouble and get attention.
The community really split and fell apart after H3… but http://h9.abload.de/img/gif3bqadk.gif looks like good ole’ halo to me lol I dont see an armor ability he didn’t have a silencer or some other stupid mod to his gun because of his rank. The kid didn’t armor lock before death… it just looks and feels like halo the way it should be. I have a good feeling about this game after watching the intro trailer a few more times even if that GI article crushed me lol

True, Reach did destroy the community. But if Halo 4 doesn’t reunite the fans. it will be broken beyond repair. Starting a whole new war. Yes fans are stubbon (including myself) but 343 can’t give in to any. We can’t afford to have Halo 2/3.5 or Reach 2, we need halo 4.

Halo 1 and 2 were great games, Halo 3 was ok. I think that a lot halo 3 fans liked halo 2 more, so its not like there getting outlawed. Dont take me wrong tho, i support your op.

How dramatic. 343 did not start this. The community did. Its just a diffrence between what we like. So therefore, we see no better way to settle this than with a fight.

Who said 343 started it? They started it by making a new game? I think we, the community started the ‘‘war’’, if there even is such a thing as Halo vs. Halo war.
One gun gameplay and a sandbox full of useless weapons, a ranking system that didn’t allow you to progress past a certain point, travel time on the BR, bad netcode.
