Destiny is fun and all but lacks way too much content and forces you to pay more to play an unexplained storyline or raids which are poorly made and has a worthless loot system that awards people for doing literally nothing.
The PvP is rather fun and all but yet unbalanced because of class talents and weapon upgrades even though it says on the playlists that everything should be leveld out.
Destiny is a pretty bad game which has it’s moments.
All you can compare Destiny with to Halo is it’s PvP which can’t be debated on which is the better since they have different combat systems.

I love Destiny, I know my opinion isn’t with the majority but I really enjoy playing the game. However, if Halo MP was working with ranking, and playlists I like to play I would for sure be playing that over Destiny.
Out of the box Destiny is a disgustingly shallow shell of a game, that requires you to buy the DLC.

I like Halo for it’s campaign, and it’s multiplayer, however, I bought Destiny from the ultimate game sale, because I love it’s PvP, and strikes.
In terms of what each are offering to me right now, I would have to say Destiny by far is more enjoyable.
I played all the Halo titles in their original release back in the day, so when I purchased MCC it was solely for the multiplayer which for me is I get to look at lobbies trying to form most of the time. Yeah the solo campaigns are great and all but I went through those before. I bought MCC for the promised Multiplayer the way I remember it. When it does work it shows hints of how great it could have been.
I mean those playlists are horrible. I remember reading somewhere before this released that they would use MCC to see what type of Multiplayer the fans wanted, so that it would help them in making Halo 5 more to what the fans like. How is that even possible when in BTB there is maps from all 4 halo’s in 1 playlist. If in one or more of these scrap playlists Halo 2, or Halo3, or Halo 4 maps are never picked are we to assume that no one likes these gameplay styles, or is it more likely that the voting system sucks and people want to play those but never can because BR Slayer is always chosen.
Heck if the voting system is anything to go by, no one must like playing bomb or multi-bomb. Cause when those show up everyone runs for the BR Slayer, so by voting logic Halo 5 should never have plant the bomb style of play.
Sorry for going a little off topic there. It’s just whenever I start thinking of how great this game could’ve been, I start thinking of all the things 343 screwed up with it.

Destiny for me can’t compete with Halo’s classic controls and gameplay style, even if MCC is… broken. I own both games though.
Even Halo 4 is better than Destiny.
Destiny is one of the very few games I have ever purchased and felt buyer’s remorse. It was terrible. Destiny’s PvP “crucible” is was horrible. Some of the worst PvP i’ve ever played.
Destiny was a horrible hamster wheel shell of a game. I traded that in without a second thought. One of the worst games of the year.

I mean, for me personally, I couldn’t agree with you, but that’s because I don’t understand why Destiny is frowned upon. Most of the time, I like to play it and I have no problem with it. I only play the Campaign though, because Multiplayer doesn’t seem as interesting. Everyone I know and basically the whole gaming community hates the game anyways.

It has literally no story, minimal content and is nothing but a grindfest for gear that once you get, you grind for upgrades and or even more gear. Those are my issues. Oh and it’s a giant dice roll. One big dice roll is the whole game basically.
If you enjoy it props to you but I couldn’t be paid to play that again
