Hey guys,
I just wanted to share a video I made for my Digital Audio Composition for Video Games class. I put a lot of work into it, so I wanted to share it with the community. I was trying to make a more interesting video that the class would actually enjoy watching when I had to present. I got pretty good feedback there, so what the heck, here goes nothing.
I named it The Living Monument after the commercial that is featured in this movie. The premise is based on the knowledge humanity has of Master Chief Post Halo 3, Pre Halo 4.
I know I’m going to get grilled for some of the finer details of it, but in my opinion (not toot my own horn any more) its pretty solid.
All but about two lines of the voice over dialog I wrote completely on my own. (most of it was made up on the fly while recording.)
I know some of there are timing issues later in the video, my editor messed it up exporting the files, and at this point I’m too lazy, and bogged down with programming homework to go fix it. And the sound isn’t up to par what I would have liked, I used ProTools for half of it like I was required for class… and yeah I hate ProTools. It screwed up all my wav files when I imported them so they were super quiet. Basically that is why there is no effects on the voice over to make it sound more crisp after about halfway. (I’m also my own worst critic)
Anyways, take it for what it is. I hope you guys enjoy it.
