So far the only iteration of the following I know of is the Battlefield Series.

The Veteran Program is dependent on how many of the games you have played, you in turn receive special privileges/items.

For instance:

I was a late bloomer, but for having played 2 Battlefield games, gained the F2000 for use in Battlefield Bad Company, as well as having a number “2” in-game next to my Gamertag to represent those two games. Then, later for having said Veteran Status when I got Battlefield: Bad Company 2, I got the M1 Garand for use in that game. Then when 1943 and Battlefield 3 came out, the number was increased to “5”

So, what I’m trying to say is, 343i could add a Veteran Program to Halo.

So:

Halo: CE
Halo 2
Halo 3
Halo Wars
Halo 3: ODST
Halo: Reach
Halo: CEA
and
Halo 4

would give MOST players a Veteran Status of about 7 (coincidence?)

Rewards for Veteran Status could be Emblems, Armor, Armor Colors, etc…

But, I understand that we have the [Waypoint] Terminals and that could be our version of a Veteran Program, but anyway, I thought I’d just throw that out there.

I think we’re good without.

That sort of thing tends to cause delusions of grandeur among the types who figure that so long as they’ve played a LOT of Halo that makes them somehow knowledgeable and important even if they are talking out of their -Yoink-.

No, I don’t think so, we get enough rewards for playing the game, I don’t want the Halo series to turn into a scavenger hunt.

i’ve played ALL halo’s yet most of them are buggered

halo wars? no idea but my achi’s relocked and all my campaign status was gone

ce and 2? they were on the original xbox and i never played online on that thing let alone anyway to move your profile over to the 360

halo 3? i have the complete it on legendary achi and many more yet even in ODST and reach it said i hadn’t even started the campaign

odst? same problem as 3 except with a few odd achi’s gone missing, stuff like complete mission 1 yet i have mission 2 achi unlocked

reach? that damn level 9 keep the tank alive achi is still bugged to this day for me

for me half my progress hasn’t been kept and the other half didn’t give me my damn achi

I think this is a bad idea, and seriously “(coincidence?)”? If a series pushes out enough games of course they’re going to reach 7 eventually, it holds no significance whatsoever.
