So a few years ago, I started up a project on the Halo Fanon Wiki with the intent of writing an epic story covering one of Halo’s most iconic events: the Fall of Reach. Taking in numerous characters and ships written by site users, me and several co-writers spent over two years working on the story before finally completing it in March of 2016. We decided to follow several groups over the course of the planet’s invasion and included chapters with our own interpretations of certain events - Beta-Red Team’s fate and what happened to Jun and Halsey upon reaching CASTLE base, for example - over the course of the story. It’s a bit of a long read, admittedly, but we put a lot of effort into making it an enjoyable tale.
