Yet you haven’t stated exactly how it’s sexsit. I have explained my points in detail. Some agree some don’t. But to say I’m being sexist is wrong.
Yeah it would honestly
Your diluting your point! The mods seriously need to either temp ban you or instalock these threads. Your a troll.
I’m a troll for having a different opinion?. There is even someone else above who shares a bulk of what my opinion is esspically the fact that a lot of media was based on pre 9/11 atmospheres.
It’s sad that you would call for someone to be banned over someone’s opinion. The people who continue to keep this thread alive is the people who feel like they have something to say and I’m not going to sit here and let you call me a troll. I will defend my points. I can choose any opinion I don’t like on here and say the same thing as you. Why would I?
You’re a troll because this isn’t the first post you have posted that is not constructive or conducive to really any debate. In almost all of your posts, the arguments migrate, not because your views “evolve,” but because you can’t defend the original argument.
Eventually, your posts just turn into you crying that its your opinion and no one should be picking on you for it. I’ve read 3 of your posts that end that way.
You are a troll or you are an emotionally damaged person who gets some sort of satisfaction out of arguing with almost everyone on this forum.
It really sounds like you are talking about your self because you and a select few come on to my posts simply just to say it’s bad. You never put in the work to argue or back up your claims. Each and every time some one did do that we came to a conclusion. You can view it however which way you want. The simple matter of that fact is you dont agree with me.
I’ll say this, Volt, your ability to simultaneously dig in your heals and shift direction is unparalleled on these forms. You win the dogged determination award.
“I could care less what it stands for”
So… You’re just going to ignore cultural context and enforce a western view on it.
I don’t have to say what I’m thinking here, everyone else is saying it.
As for your opinion, yeah, you can have it. But your opinion friggin’ sucks and everyone here is right to call you out on it Volt.
The sheer statement “Halo used to be a man’s game” is inherently sexists first, as you’re trying to keep Halo from including things for women/ non-binary individuals.
Halo has never been a super serious game. I mean, we were exploding grunts into confetti with child cheering back in 2004 when H2 came out. We had ninja armor and flaming skulls in H3, and then it even went harder into goofy with Reach and heart explosions. Halo has always had a slightly serious tone campaign, and the MP has always been goofy as heck.
The argument that “Halo was a man’s game” is kinda false, it’s more that the games industry was a man’s industry. Now that the industry is SUPER inclusive for all genders, trying to hold Halo back from that is inherently sexists.
And again, to reiterate if this is your whole point you’re going to fall back to, Halo has never been a super serious MP game.
It has very little to do with me not “agreeing” with you and more of you posting blatant bs that you know nothing about. Specifically, any time you mention the military and the culture of the military.
That being said, I am going to attempt to stop feeding the troll, because that is a lost cause entirely.
I am wrong on some things? Yes. This is why I ask for people to explain what they mean. If someone is asking the same question 4 times down the thread the topic gets diluted because they see a Rply to someone else and think that’s what I mean overall. I’m not going to say I’m perfect either. Sometimes I’m replying to many things at once while two people are also replying and both the topics get mixed up and I have to correct and re phrase.
Either way I will defend myself. No one is going to call me a troll sexsit or racist. I have made my points and if someone can’t refute exact stamtents then they dont have an argument.
It’s already been explained by me and someone else that my point is in no way saying that women/anygender should be excluded in ANY way. Yet you and others continue to ignore this.
It’s never been super serious but it was mostly serious in theme and in the stakes around the story. As I’ve said already. There is funny and silly moments. I don’t mind them. I just think what Halo infinite is specifically doing is to much. I think it leans more towards a different direction.
It’s sad I have to repeat this. I’m ok with cat ears. I’m ok with pink flower petals. What I’m not ok with is the AMOUNT of the items I’m starting to see while I play. In halo reach yes there were effects like that but not we have death effects. Foot effects. It’s begginging to me be a lot in my eyes. Not that the items themselves are bad.
Too bad, Volt.
You have to deal with seeing how other people want to present themselves and you aren’t gonna’ get a choice in that. You don’t get to toggle other people’s fun and expression.
If you’re so concerned about manliness or being a man, then take that fact on the chin like a man and deal with it. For twenty six friggin’ years I had to man up, myself. But you know what I did to be happier? I changed, I didn’t demand the world around me change.
So maybe a tip from an Ex-Man would do you some good. Be a better man.
What’s BS? in real life is there effects coming out of people’s shoes? No right? That’s the first statement here. That I don’t like the effects becsuse I feel it doesn’t fit the game. This is also true in the military. There is no effects coming out of their shoes. I have stated above that I feel a cherry blossom tree in a new multiplayer map would be the accurate representation of the culture instead of foot step petals.
So yes it is disagree. You refusing to touch on the finer points does not change that.
It’s not Turing off their expression if they still get to wear it. Why do they need me to see it for them to feel like they are expressing themselves ?
Because you have to man up and deal with seeing things you don’t like. You get to curate your experience, but you SHOULD have to see how others want to present themselves.
I’m already dealing with it tho. I already dont like the game. Idk what you mean by man up. I just have options. Light ones at that. I feel like back then halos were based on more masculine tones. And I also feel like Halo infinite is swinging to far into the fornite direction. These are both opinions that don’t require any “growing up”.
Maybe you could use some growing up, Volt.
But for somebody who’s mad about how unmasculine Halo is now?
Getting told by a transgirl about having to man up must be a pretty hard low.
We are just going around in circles at this point
I’m not mad about anything. I have specific opinions that you don’t agree with.
I also don’t see how your gender or who you pyschially are means anything in this conversation when masculine and feminine things can be held by both man and women AND all genders
