I already exchanged convo points with the OP about why the thread is inherently sexist, even though their main topic might not be. They even agreed, though not enough to take the action they agreed would be best I guess.
You don’t need to explicitly say sexist and non-inclusive things for a conversation and viewpoint to be sexist. The words/phrasing chosen, and supporting points can imply these traits without them being vocalized in plain speech.
@BreezyStarfish1 and other mods. The fact that this thread has been allowed to stay open while you all shut down multiple threads yesterday discussing how to make MP characters more inclusive of all genders is disgusting tbh. The forum mod team should be disappointed in themselves.

I find it funny that something being feminine is seen as a bad thing. We have had female spartans who are badass since the beginning. the military in irl has women. i’m sorry the gaming space isn’t a guy zone anymore and more people enjoy it, it really does seem to bother you OP.

I mean. It is if your judgement of a game is on a scale of masculine and feminine and thinks there is to much feminine stuff in it. That equates to you holding more value in one over the other, in your arbitrary measuring system. Because everyone is going to see it differently you also open a can of worms.
Tldr, you shouldn’t care at all it’s a game not your whole identity.

Idk about leaving out the finer points. It seems there is a whole attitude of this is going too far. I am just stating why I disagree and that “this used to be a man’s game” is a bad take. 343 can keep going in this direction and I’ll be happy. Listen, Man’s Game is a known saying. I don’t think saying ‘man’s game’ labels anything as sexist, especially in this context.
Apparently to some, it was a poor choice of words/unknown saying.
The sentiment and meaning behind it is still there and laid out in context after the title of the thread, you know, explained inside of the thread.
