I will bite as a fan a both.
You would have to be a bit more specific as to some of these. precursors VS celestials would be a bit unbalanced considering its a entire race VS 3 very powerful people. I would say precursors because of numbers and almost equal demonstrations of power. both in ground and space battles.
as for covenant VS empire the empire might dominate ground soley due to Vader and the emperor. however its hard to tell for space. Most of the star wars weapons are laser based while most of the covenant weapons are plasma based. But I would have to say the covenant have demonstrated much greater capability for destruction. So maybe the covenant.
UNSC VS rebels though is UNSC on the ground and rebels in space. For the UNSC it really wouldn’t change much even if they were against the Empire. the Technological gap of UNSC vs star wars would help them since the factions don’t have alot of protection against projectiles(it is actually a point in some star wars lore) but the star wars factions still greatly out class any tech the UNSC has, With the exception of Spartans of course. Rebels might actaully beat the Covenant though. they have tech that rivals the covenant and with stuff like ion cannons might actually have a edge.
entire universe VS entire universe halo wins hands down. Get all 7 rings in place in the star wars universe and boom star wars universe looses.
