The Halo Universe is up but WHERE are the videos?? Seriously, plus the Weapons hardly has anything, add more UNSC, Covenant, and Forerunner Weapons. The vehicles? Add MORE VEHICLES (UNSC and Covenant), add more information on all the things in the Technology and add more things into the technology, add MORE locations, add MORE species, an events tab, more characters

The list of additions I’d like to see is utterly vast. However, I have found a few factual errors that I’d like to see addressed. After all, the Ark’s entry was edited to reflect the installation’s survival. Maybe this post will bear fruit.

  • The Didact is said to have been born in 110,255 BCE. However, Cryptum says he had already been appointed Protector of the Ecumene two millennia before the conflict with humanity began circa 110,000 BCE. The entry later supports the novel, though, as it states that he served as Protector for over twelve thousand years. It would make more sense if he were born around 113,000 BCE or earlier.- Mason Hundley is said to have been born in 2535. He completed secondary school, served with the Home Fleet for several years, then joined ONI in 2552. The problem is that he would have been just seventeen years old at the time of his transfer, not time mention his years of prior service. Setting his birth a few years back would resolve the issue.- Hard light is noted as one of several Forerunner technologies successfully reverse-engineered by the Covenant. “Wages of Sin” from Evolutions explicitly states that the Covenant never managed to pull this off. Sesa 'Refumee’s holo-drones were clearly Forerunner tech so that doesn’t count. There may be more incongruities like this scattered across the Universe. ba-dum-ch If I find others I’ll post them here. Feel free to do the same.

Factions

  • Koslovics- FriedenKoslovics and Frieden would be other Insurrectionist movements.
  • Colonial Administration Authority (CAA)- Colonial Military Administration (CMA)- Colonial Militia
while the CAA, CMA and Colonial Militia would be sub-factions of United Earth Government

Timeline

  • Jovian Moon Campaign- Rain Forest Wars- Argyre Planitia Campaign- Interplanetary War

How about adding a section for the precursors?
Even with the least piece of intel.
After all, they are the beginning of all of that.

I’m going to be lazy here and just say 343 should just add the information from ALL the characters in their books. Maybe not so much the minor characters but ALL the characters that you would/should know about for the Lore. This includes Kurt, Linda, James, Sam, Fred, Jai, Adriana, Mike, etc…

For tech maybe a description of Smart AI’s and Dumb ones. They appear numerous times in Halo Canon it may be an idea to have them in.

I apologise… for old posters having to re-post on this new thread… but I wanted to organise the lists at the start for 343 Industries, fanbase and anyone elses convience. Some great suggestions I will be adding them to the list shortly, I appreciate the assistance.

I don’t really use that real much because of the Archive of all of that knowledge on Halo Archive. The site contains everything that I’d want to be able to access, but since it is ran by fans I would think that they can add more information as time goes on.

That being said, if I were to use that as much as the Archives it would have to include more than what they have, which is a lot.

It looks like they’re focusing on everything that ties in to recent Halo media right now…primarily the H2A terminals, Halo 4, Halo: Forward Unto Dawn, Halo: Nightfall, and Halo: Escalation, especially with the character section.

That being said, I’m surprised that people like Jun, Professor Anders, or Spartan Davis don’t get a mention, as well as “vehicles” like the Scorpion, Pelican, In Amber Clad, and the Broadsword, to say nothing of the Covenant “vehicles,” locations such as “Gamma Halo/Installation 03,” “Zeta Halo/Installation 07,” and the primary antagonistic species of the human-covenant war such as the Elites and the Prophets. Those are the things that really jump out at me right now–to say nothing of the scarcity of weapons.

Whilst I do understand the focus on recent Halo media, I think it is imperative that everything featured in each of the games in the series is next on the list–even right down to minor characters like Chips Dubbo and Marcus Stacker, and all the equipment like the Bubble Shield. That’s a huge list, but having it all in one place would ensure that everything in that has already appeared in the Halo Sandbox is considered for the next Halo game–I mean, if it was good enough to appear in one game, then it should be good enough to be included in the next. [Hornet, Halo 4, 'Nuff said].

Wanted to let everyone we appreciate all your excitement and feedback! Trust me, we’ve got some pretty cool plans in store for the Universe as it continues to grow, including an evolution of the Canon Fodder feature that you’ve been seeing in the Halo Bulletins the past couple months  You’ll be hearing a bit more soon on some of our thoughts and plans for how we’d like to utilize the new Universe features.

Thanks so much for all the feedback and positive vibes, from everyone.
