So per IGN the TV show is still in development and wont be out for a while. So seeing its looking like we won’t see this show on launch when do we think we are finally getting this show?
My bet sometime next year or the year after. TV shows take some time to produce, write, film, post production, etc. By the way he described it currently, I don’t think they have finished writing it yet, but that’s just my impression.
I understand that they take a long time but we were introduced to this in what 2013. I am all for them taking the time to make this perfect but I would love an update on what is going on with this project.
I thought Nightfall was an interesting television like halo series that came with the MCC. I think that was sufficient to fill the void we have until the tv show drops.
Hmmm… maybe the show will be a lead into Halo Wars 2? It could thus operate in its own ‘storyline’ without having to shoe-horn in any of the main game events. Thus for PC gamers it could serve to introduce the various characters, and with it being set on the Spirit of Fire, it wouldn’t have to feature so much CGI, there’s plenty of story and character development. We know Anders had a history with Halsey, Serina should be approaching rampancy, and we now know Cutter had a mistress and illegitimate son as well as his wife and daughter. Not to mention Douglas, Alice and Jerome and now the least fleshed out Spartan II’s. Perhaps it could explain the ship status being switched to ‘Lost with all hands’ by ONI.
well, since we don’t even got an official title yet, i seriously doubt we’ll see or hear or read anything soon
about that project. it is supposed to be a real tv-show, not just some kind of low budget “mini series” like
forward unto dawn, so yeah, i’m actually pretty glad they’re investing so much time into this & progress
slowly, than to rush things through.

I love this idea. A Halo series with a “Lost in Space” vibe. I’m all for it.
That’s why I love Infinity particularly in Escalation. It’s taking a “Star Trek” direction. A ship exploring space and encountering all sorts of situations. Trying to maintain diplomacy while being the first line of defense for Earth and her colonies.
