I don’t know what the official term is, but I would like to see a forum topic for the upcoming television series. Like what we have for Halo Infinite. I have some theories and ideas I want to share. It might be too soon for one, maybe?

If you are referring to a dedicated forum for the new tv show then I think you answered your own question. Maybe once promotional material starts rolling out we might see the forum spring up, but at the moment there isn’t much to discuss except choice of directors and show runner.

Well, we know Master Chief is in it. But I guess you’re right, it is too soon.
As soon as they have an announced name for the project I’m sure they’ll open up a forum for it. They won’t really want to do that yet if they’re not ready to reveal
I wonder if the TV show will take the place of the live action accompanying media we get with Halo Infinite, assuming there is one. Kind of like how we got Forward Unto Dawn for Halo 4 and Nightfall for Halo 5.

That’s an interesting idea. With the 10 episodes on order they could really do something amazing, but what would you do for the second season? They said they want to incorporate Chief into the show, so what do you do when the game is released. Picking back up the story after the game’s campaign ending would seem unfair to none players. If they could pull off an Agents of SHIELD, and have a parallel story that would be awesome!

Halo 4 and Halo 5 both had live-action trailers/commercials in addition to the web series. No reason why the TV show has to be a replacement for all live action media.

I would prefer it not be! The more Halo stories told the better.

It was Forward Unto Dawn for H4 right?

Yup! I typed Halo 5 twice by mistake. My apologies I’ll edit my post.
Nightfall was cool. Ridley Scott did a good job with Halo. I just don’t see the big connection to Halo 5’s story. It develops Locke’s character by shedding some light on his history and personality. I look at Nightfall as a stand-alone story. I’d like to see Chief be a recurring character, but have the protagonist be unaugmented. Like a Kilo-5 team. It would be a logistical nightmare for the props and cosmetic team suit up an actor to play a Spartan every episode.

Personally, I want to see practical effects for the aliens. That ugly CGI elite in Nightfall killed my immersion.
It would be great if they could somehow get Neill Blomkamp back to do a live action trailer or work on the TV show. The Anthem trailer he put out today was cool. And while he did the Halo 3 shorts, he never got to show a Spartan. I would love to see his take on a live action Mjolnir suit.
I can’t wait for the show and I’m pretty sure it’s going to amazing.

I made a thread intended to be sort of a live-update until if/when we get a forum section. Let’s stick to that one please.
