Hey everyone! I made this post where we can discuss the 4th episode of the TV series. The episode premiered at 12am PST/3am EST. Enjoy and let’s discuss!
The scene in the lab with the covenant weapens and dead elite on the table. Theres also tenticles in water tanks, are those the flood?
Hunters.
Keyes’ lab was awesome. I bet there’s a bunch of stuff in there I missed. Prime rewatch material.
Mixed bag of an ep, some really bad and some really good:
- Kwon’s bits are…surprisingly good? I actually liked her part of the episode. I dunno what any of this has to do with halo though, lol
- Miranda and silver team is both decent and feels like halo. Silver team needs more screen time. They feel like proper spartans and not whatever is going on with chief.
- Chief’s the worst part of this episode, somehow a kinda less lame version of the episode of picard that also aired today but seeing both back to back was pretty surprising
We’re four episodes in though (of 9) and we have 1 battle with the covenant…and they don’t feel like a genocidal invading force…it feels really wrong.
Also its weird how we’ve had 2 grunt jokes now, but the show hasn’t even shown the ‘broader audience’ what a grunt is yet.
The plot is confusing.
Also a young asian woman, I can’t understand Ha’s logic.In other words, I’m dissatisfied with the screenwriter ! ![]()
She knew she was wanted and insisted on going back, which also implicated her family.
As the general’s daughter, why is she so childish?
Liquidation is inevitable.
Recognizing the primary and secondary contradictions and expanding influence is the top priority.
I hope to see the growth of the protagonist in the next few episodes.
I’m hoping the back half of the season speeds up a lot, though I don’t think the episodes have been terrible or anything.
I have to say, all the actors are doing very good jobs with their characters imo. Silver Team and Dr. Keyes scene in the lab and with the artifact was awesome!
I wonder if Kai and her removal of the inhibitor pod is going to turn out to be a hero story, or a hero-falls-into-darkness story?..
