Finally, we have some more info on the Halo TV series from ShowTime! I am super excited for this, can’t wait for more news!

I’m quite excited to hear that Natascha McElhone will be a part of this - she was great in Designated Survivor, Solaris and The Truman Show. I can see the resemblance for Cortana as well, that should be quite interesting

Me too! I think she is a great fit, in both acting and that she looks like Halsey/Cortana.
Just hope it’s based on the classic Halo type designs…the designs in ‘Forward Unto Dawn’ movie were kind of strange to look at.

The casting looks good so far. I did envision Parangosky much more sinister than I can imagine the actress cast as her, but we’ll see how she does.
I think Soren is an interesting choice, since his augmentation wasn’t successful I wonder what roll he will have in the show.

Same here, I wonder if his presence in the story is as a sort of narrative foil to John-117’s character. Based on what I know about him from the short story in Evolutions (“Pariah”) his path through the SPARTAN-II program was…very different and kind of sad.
The bad thing is, Showtime is airing it so we’ll have pay to see it.

Probably depends on the region, I think generally shows tend to pop up on different services depending on the regions…it’s like how Star Trek Picard is advertised as ‘cbs exclusive’ and yet in other regions it’s actually only on Amazon Prime so doubt the Halo series will stick to just ‘Showtime’ since it seems like a USA only service, is blocked in many places like the UK so it wouldn’t make any sense to make it a ‘Showtime’ exclusive.
I guess we’ll see when it comes out. About like GOT it aired in different countries on other services than HBO. Doesn’t really do us good though living in the US.

Exactly, I think in the UK that was on NowTV…still it’s not very clear where it will air. Since like I mentioned Star Trek we have Picard on Amazon and yet oddly Netflix has all other shows so it’s unclear if Halo could end up on Netflix or Amazon but have doubts it’ll end up on NowTV plus so far Halo seems to more common on Netflix so far.
