Lol people follow the hate 343 train and cannot look at the positive. However, people love 343 and what they done with Halo cannot look at the negatives.
This needs to stop, if your going to argue about the game atleast try to be fair in your arguments.
I dislike Halo 5 however I do feel there are good aspects to the game also.
For example, I hate the campaign, however I do feel as if 343 did a great job with the weapon sandbox.
See what I mean?
You don’t need to hate everything and you don’t need to like everything because others are too.
I’m just annoyed with people thinking everything they say about the game is fact because they have seen posts, videos etc from others instead of taking personal experiences with the game and forming a opinion for themselves. It’s ridiculous.
Again, I strongly dislike Halo 5 overall compared to previous installments but that does not mean everything in Halo 5 is bad… cause tbh I still play the game almost everyday so to say that would make me very hypocritical.
TLDR: If we all keep saying the game is amazing, it won’t get improved. If we keep saying everything sucks the good things maybe won’t be included next time, as 343 would see good things in the game as negatives.
I agree. I see a lot of hating in the comments. I say hating because there is no content in their comments. Just a lot of “Get rid of this because it sucks” or some other repeated garbage. I haven’t played through the campaign yet on 5 in its entirety so I don’t have much of an opinion there. I’m not overly impressed but I haven’t been let down yet either. It’s easy for me to say the old games were better but I haven’t decided if that is nostalgia talking or if it’s true. Could be both. I was 18 when CE came out. Loved it. Honestly, I can’t say I have been legitimately let down by any of the Halo games. Hell, I even loved Halo Wars and look forward to HW2. I do have a thing for RTS games though. …but I digress.
There are things about 5 I don’t like: Micro Transactions, some of the maps (I spend most of my time in warzone though) and maybe the overall look of the game. I just feel like we should be further along in the appearance. One of the first things I noticed was how “cartoony” it looked. In it’s defense none of the games have been known for their overly realistic graphics nor should it be.

Exactly my point, you just gave reasons why you disliked the game and explained why. I completely agree with your comment about nostalgia, I feel that plays such a massive part in the preference of Halo but it always seems to get overlooked. I feel this is one of the main reasons why we consider newer games “not as good as the old” I mean hell do you remember when Halo 2 came out and everyone hated it? Look at it now it’s now considered one of the best games ever and the game that gave us xbox live.
With regards to Halo 5, I have list from here to the moon of what I dont like about the game BUT I’ll never post stating my opinions are fact. I try to included in every post “this is just my opinion” because I don’t want people to get confused as to what I’m trying to say. I try to have a legit discussion at times about my displeasure about the game but it always turns into “stop complaing” or “this game is the worst ever”.
I feel productive conversations barely take place as everyone just wants to argue about who’s right instead of what’s better for the franchise.
Lol I’ll stop now, but I gotta agree with Micro Transactions. The req system really makes me unhappy as I feel as it is a money grab with justification behind free content that should have been here from day one. But that’s a topic for another day haha.
