Okay so there are some threads talking about Halo 2 Anniversary and I am the author of the Halo 3 Anniversary.
Here is what I said about Halo 3 Anniversary:
So they are making Halo: CEA. We are hoping for Halo 2 Anniversary. Now what if they did a Halo 3 Anniversary. Yes I know Halo 3 was on the Xbox 360 and is still playable and wasn’t everyone’s favorite out of the trilogy; but it would complete the whole Anniversary trilogy. There are two ways they can do this: 1. take down the server and rebuild it so hackers can’t make it their home like it is right now. Then send us a update when we sign in to XBL and we can use our original disc of Halo 3. 2. re-release Halo 3 with enhanced graphics, some changes to the maps (maybe) and then add a few extra maps when you purchase it. Giving you a whole new Halo 3, but still feels like Classic Halo. No armor abilities, strictly classic. If they were to add an ability it should be Sprint only. The Halo Trilogy was the best out of all of them in my opinion. An I would love to see all three of these games remade and re-released. They all had different terrains, not everything was the same color, the maps were unique in every way and made gameplay value sky rocket. Majority loved Halo 1-2-3 for their amazing mulitplayer aspect. Even the ranking system was on track! So the questions are: Do you want a complete Trilogy Anniversary of Halo 1, 2, & 3? Should 343i do this? I say Yes and Yes!

Now I know people aren’t all for the idea and think “why remake the same game over and have us pay for it” “we want something new” well that is all true but Halo 1-2-3 were the main games that kept this franchise going. Now I think it would a nice edition to have those three be as a collectors/anniversary trilogy. They would only remake 1-2-3 nothing else beyond that.
If they were to do this, they should wait for the new console to bring Halo 3 out.
I think it would be smart since Halo CE is being brought back to us. So why not remake the trilogy? But this is just my opinion and it is perfectly fine for people to not agree with me.
Are you guys kidding me. Halo 3 was the best of all the halo’s. Now an anniversary, who knows. I’m hopping for a halo 2 anniversary but a halo 3 anniversary I don’t know. Well I’m not approving or disaproving it but who really knows. I really loved halo 3 but who knows what the graphics can look like in 6 years. All I ask if 343i does make this a reality to keep all the original weapon sounds. The halo 3 weapons were rather very… Unique

Sure, because nobody they employ would be stupid enough to suggest such an idea.
