Hey wandering if anyone can help.
just acquired this game and eager to play I pop it into my console so it can install and of course when it says ready to play I load the game.
Only to be prompted to press the menu button and to then have nothing happen, just stuck on the screen staring at an asteroid belt and a big blue light with the music playing.
Any help is appreciated to solving this.

Man it only gets worse from here. If your not a diehard fan probably best to get out while you can. Just wait til you’ve wanted three hours for a 1v5
Some games have rather crappy “Ready to play” flags.
I can’t relate and give information pertaining to MCC as I started at like 98%, but some games just say they are ready but instead they send you to a blank intro screen. Sounds (SOUNDS, not certain) like that’s what you have. Just let it finish downloading.

Finished installing and still the same problem, literally press the start menu then nothing but a screen of staring into space.

Even if you get past the menu the rest of the game is just broken in a lot of different places. Not sure how tolerant you are personally but eventually trying to play the game became frustrating enough as to ruin the experience for me.
I’ve just decided to leave it for a while, hopefully it won’t be too long before it functions correctly but given the extensive list of issues I wouldn’t get my hopes up either.
Try hard resetting your console by holding down the power button for 10 seconds. Don’t worry no data is lost. Worked for me.
