Is anyone else with a headset experiencing issues with the Halo 3 surround sound in games?
I’m using Astro A40s and the location of the sounds I’m hearing don’t match with what’s happeneing on screen. Eg. I hear a battle going on behind me to the left hand side but when I look around in game nothing is happening over there, it’s all happening in front of me on my right. Seems liike the surround sound is inverted as distant noises appear opposite to where they are in the game.
Yes same thing for me, I made a post about it too!
So weird ey! Its like their whole positioning is out of wack, I’m using Astro A40s with the optical audio cable.
PLEASE FIX!

Yeah I saw, ah well. Wednesday is here… Not long to wait now.
I have a 6.1 surround sound system and the H3 audio is indeed VERY strange! H3 in TMCC is the ONLY game I have ever played that is having some sort of inverted or mixed audio. Makes it terrifying sometimes to walk out in BTB because you really have no idea where the vehicles are truly coming from. It is very strange.

yep, this issue still persists for me as well.
I can’t tell where vehicles are so it becomes a real challenge to avoid them lol
I’m using the A40 and mix amp pro and am having the same issues. Sounds like my own BR is coming from behind me. Everything is switched. Did they even test this game? #weaintbackyet
