HALO THURSDAY WAR

Ooh!

Ooh, indeed!

Horrible name for both the saga and the book. Somebody needs to co-write the book with her so the actual Sc-fi Elements are explained and done properly.

I’ll make you a trade. You get your wish if the final Forerunner Saga novel gets an illustrator to make a pop-up companion book. Because I can’t for the life of me imagine more than a couple bits of this “alive” Forerunner architecture.

Agreed. I just have trouble picturing these structures. Greg Bear is a fantastic writer, but his descriptive elements could be better…

Well, hopefully it can’t get any worse…right…right?

Apart from the homage to Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings, that was my only problem with Cryptum and Primordium.

Some of you need not to even comment…
The Thursday war, funny title. I wonder what’s the significance of the title.
I am really excited to read it! But 200 days? Gah!

Also Greg bears book aren’t hard exactly to imagine…

Well, It’s probably gonna be some super one day war,

Silly Traviss and her Commonwealthization of the Halo universe.

Hopefully this one is written better, and does not involve walking stereotypes and caricatures for characters.

Interesting…

Because people had such a hard time calling Glasslands by its name I look forward to people calling this “Tuesday War”.

Stereotypes? What Stereotypes? The ones that people soldiers are people too? Oh yeah how dare she make them human.

> The ones that people soldiers are people too?

Nope.

Then why don’t you give an actual example.

One reason is because your tone is quite pugnacious. The other is because it is a boring and fruitless topic, which has been talked about to death since last September on many forums I go to. I am not in any rush to entertain another one at this point.

The Thursday war “sigh” sounds like a really bland title but i assume it means training of the spartan 4’s sense thursday war def

The whole “Halsey is evil and comparable to Mengele” was a pretty stupid move. And the Elite character Jul…what a poorly defined character with terrible motivation. Then we must not forget ONI as a whole and their pointless -Yoink- moves that will only hurt the UNSC.

She didn’t really change Halsey. She broke the law and stole military “Property”.
Jul fought humans for over 20 years, why would he just stop because of a few months of fighting together.
ONI’s actions make perfect sense for a race almost driven to extinction, they aren’t just going to forgive the Elites.
