He’s still a recruiter for the Spartan Program. In Initiation, he recruited Sarah Palmer and was present when a rogue innie tried to take over the Infinity. The last we saw of him, he was aboard the secret Spartan-IV training space station, retaking control after the Created-allied AI Leonidas tried to take over the facility.

i know that but what happens after all that is he still alive?
My theory is that there is another uncorrupted version of Cortana that is still good, and that will be reunited with the Chief in Infinite.

Yes, Jun is still alive.

but didn’t cortana take over the guardians and also Cortana hit her seven year lifespan which is why she is corrupt

There’s also the whole “Accessed the Domain” deal, if you buy into her being honest about that.

I don’t think that the 7 year Smart AI lifespan applies to her at this point. The Domain has cured her, as she should be dead by now. Again, this is purely my theory, but I think that a stable version of Cortana is kicking around somewhere.

well that could be possible that there is a good cortana but would Dr.halsey really want to create her again and would lasky even authorize it
