Hey guys. I wanted to make this topic as part of the Halo I liked the most I wanted to talk about with the community on thoughts on what will happen in this Halo, even if I’m not going to be buying it (unless PC)
It’s the ring.
Or the installation let’s say. The ring in Halo has been the most important, especially if the main game, main game being 1,2,3, and 4. Reach, ODST and Wars not so much as they’re not exactly the flag ship.
Now nor am I sure that this ‘Halo Xbox One’ game intending to be a flagship, though if is then I’m curious to know what installation they’ll base it around. Here’s links to what I mean

Hmmf, a funny thought, it’ll be funny if they went to Installation 01 in this, because, y’know, Xbox One? Hah…

So this has been an important thing for me, and I thank 343i for abiding to keep a ring in each flagship, even moving 03 into Halo 4 was a placement of the ring to say the Composer was on it, well played claps around and I get that Halo is more moving to Master chief, but they some how always have a place for the rings, so for that, thank you <33
What are your lot’s thoughts on the ring? To me this is very important but I don’t know what the rings mean to the community.
Evidence seems to better support the location to be the Lesser Ark, Installation 00. The red planet resembles the small planetoid in the Ark’s center used to construct the ring by harvesting it’s raw materials, the clouds likely obscure the Ark’s spokes and the area is very reminiscent of the Halo 3 level, The Ark.
Of course, that doesn’t mean we won’t visit a Halo ring, but I’m hoping it is Installation 07.
I don’t know what to make about where he is. The Halo rings had some kind of mood hovering over, but reach had a huge moon in it’s orbit.
I think both Arks are destroyed by now…
Also, I hope to se a not conventional numbered Halo, like… Intstallation 06 or 02, just because 01 and 07 are too obvious…
But also I would like to see what became of 05, and what kind of Monitor was the one on 03 , Abject Testament, for being put in charge of somethin g as powerful as the Composer.

Greater Ark? Yes. Lesser Ark? Not completely.

I don’t know why they’d make a huge deal about 07 in the books then and not do anything with it.

Well 05 was glassed and a is orbited by Lisbon Station. As for Abject Testament, he seemed really depressed with his situation.
