Halo is awesome because it can meet every players needs. The sheer customization allows so much for a player. I was playing Halo: Reach; but, I wanted to play something similar to H3. I jumped into the MLG playlist and had a good time. I played the Pit and it was awesome. Enjoyed not having bloom and sprint. It was nostalgic. Forge is the game changer in my mind. The Halo community does so much for the franchise.
This next point is off-topic. I think they should release a forge software. Which will allow the community to create “real” maps. Something that could allow them to change textures and everything that the developers have access to. I love community maps but sometimes the forerunner structures drive me crazy. I would like some different scenery and new ideas.

Or… they could release like a lower priced game called Halo: Forge, you could use it to make maps in every Halo so far. You would have to select the Halo, and you would get a set of map items and terrain and such possible for that game. Then they could do free dlc, or lower cost DLC, for new games that are released!
That could work as well. Something I would like to see is a terrain editor. Being able to shift ground levels would be cool.
Exactly, There is always something for everyone no matter the preference. This is why Halo 4 will arguably be the best halo game in recent memory
