I’d love to see a movie about Harvest! That’d make for a great film adaptation, if handled properly.

In all honesty, not really. I’m still not sold on the idea of a human being raised by the Covenant.

They should make the movie just before/during the Battle of Reach. Have it show the perspective of regular soldiers fighting against unending Covenant assaults. Even have them fight alongside Spartan Blue and/or Noble Geam.

I think a Halo movie set during the Fall of Reach will be a great idea. I really want to see a Halo movie going in a style of Saving Private Ryan and Black Hawk Down especially when it comes to the epic battle scenes.
Depends. If the film is a DVD or Streaming Service film, it can go anyway it wants. But if it’s on the big screen and/or gets a BIG marketing push for Netflix or Hulu, then if should probably be set around The Chief And Cortana. If that’s the case, I’ve got something that would NOT be an adaptation of the games, but still an adaptation of a Chief story that retaliates to the games:
Operation: First Strike.
You thought I would say The Fall Of Reach, didn’t you? While, yes, that would work, but we have TWO major stories about Reach in the past decade with another one coming. The only way I would prefer Reach to come first, is if they were going to adapt the original BOOK trilogy. To saying I won’t like a Reach film, I’ just saying, First Strike would be the preferred option.

Nope, not at all. Which is why I don’t have faith in them doing a movie either at this point after so many failed attempts at a show.
The thing is a movie shouldn’t be about something we already have in other works. I love FoR and First Strike as much as the next guy but we know it already and we made a mental concept of how it looks and works within what we know of the grand scheme of things.
If we get a movie or the series it should be about something we don’t k ow yet for it to be meaningful. Otherwise it’s going to disappoint due to our expectations. Besides, I don’t want Halo to do the same as Star Wars were they suffer from the small universe syndrome.
Just give me something that isn’t Chief related, but focused about ONI scheming or something Johnson related between Harvest and CE.
Please don’t take off Master Chief’s helmet.
