Would just like to add today I started playing Halo 3 (Heroic) and I’m right at the end of The Ark but the level won’t end, I’ve cleared the platform of the brutes, the brute chieftain and the jackals, but nothing, music just plays and the air battle continues. I’ll replay it after I’m done with the rest of the campaign…
If you search a game with a friend/friends, you could be placed on opposite teams (unacceptable).
Some games of 8 players were 6 vs 2 instead 4 vs 4 (unacceptable).
Tried during an entire hour to find a game after the application of the patch (unacceptable)
After a finished game, the game freezes on the “Loading” screen (3 times) (unacceptable).
If you finally find a game, there are possibilities to get banned from it (2 times) (unacceptable).
Friends don´t show up even if they are online.
Level 1 players paired with level 15. you should try to pair like Halo 3 does (difference of 10 levels max.). I can´t imagine a game of level 50 players dueling vs. level 1 players (unacceptable).
If you start to search in a playlist and you want to go back and search in another one, the party is sepparated and you have to invite again. Same in customs and other situations (unacceptable).
The most part of the games are 4 vs 3 (unacceptable).
I saw some playlists of 5 vs 5, even if they were conceived as 4 vs 4. That changes (and ruins) totally the experience and strategy. Can´t i play 4 vs 4 Halo 3?
I would like to see some playlists like (essential) Team Doubles. And ranked, of course.
Experiencing many of the same issues as the rest in this thread. My issues are mainly with the campaign.
all single players campaign, haven’t got the coop to work yet
Game freezes completely, usually immediately after a checkpoint. have to restart my xbox
Checkpoints do not save, have to start the campaign mission from the start again
Controller constantly goes out of sync during gameplay
After loading campaign level, screen goes completely black, though audio continues working
these are the main issues i have experienced along with some of the others mentioned in previous posts including matchmaking not working even post November 21st patch.

Neither the matchmaking nor the campaigns work only halo 4 works on my game it’s very aborting wish I can get a full refund didn’t buy the game to not be able to play anything
I am seriously getting frustrated with the quality of game you as a company released its absolutely pathetic nothing on this game works basically just gave you guys money and I’m really fed up I’ve had it since it came out and I have gotten nothing but issues everything freezes within seconds of staring I checked my disc and there isn’t a single scratch on it and I’ve read some of the reviews it’s not just me having issues it’s everyone
I’m currently having a major problem with my game me and my friend beat the campaign on legendary and while the achievements for beating the game on legendary, normal etc popped for him they didnt pop for me they keep reading 92% but when I go look at each individual mission it says I’ve beat them on legendary.
another problem not sure its a glitch but for the score tracker during missions if I die 3-4 times it will stop scoring and freeze the score making par score near impossible to obtain.
My major problem is that the game will not load up, it just goes to the title screen with the planet on it. Then it flips back to my Xbox One home screen. I have cleared the cache, and reboot the console to no effect. I am loathed to speak to MS support, as I end up getting nonsensical, scripted ‘pap’ that amounts to carrying out the same attempted fixes I just did, and the a ticket. 343 really need to sort this out!
This isn’t a big as much as it is a let down.
Halo 3: the epilogue did not include the extra scene that was in the legendary ending of halo 3 xbox 360. Thought it would have been a good transition😕
MP- since the 11/20/14 update I still have to wait a long time to find a match, or even get a match. And I have tried other games on both the xbox one and xbox 360 and was able to find matches with ease. So it isn’t my side
H2A: I switched the graphic between classic and remastered for all the missions (including cutscene-only missions) but the Tighten Up the Graphics achievement won’t unlock and the progress only stay at 65%. Done speedruns for all the missions later and it’s still not unlocking. My co-op partner however have no problem unlocking the achievement.- H3: Lag immensely when playing a 4-players co-op campaign. Both in Xbox party and in game. We took so much time to clear even the first mission, Sierra 117. Just about when we get to the point where you need to save Sgt. Johnson, the game suddenly disconnect and put all four of us in the main menu. The game then proceed to connect us to the host, but stuck at the “Connecting to host” message. Had to quit and relaunch.- H3: I get “host migration” message when trying to join a later-would-be co-op campaign session (not Multiplayer)- H3: The game sit at some out-of-map screen for a few seconds before the cutscenes load.- MP: When searching for matches, I got the “Players found…” message but then nothing happens. Not connected to any match just like before the update.But oh man, speedrun on H2A mission Regret is really giving us challenge. We managed to finish it with 11 seconds left while lagging in co-op.
Halo 2 campaign has an extremely aggravating glitch where resuming solo missions will load you with no screen. It’s just black. I can see the lettering in the bottom right, as I was at an important checkpoint that had a title, but my screen is black. Also, I can pause the game and see not only the pause interface, but also what would be on my screen if it loaded correctly (in other words, the pause screen isn’t glitched at all and is working perfectly)

I got the beeping problem too. What we did was both quit the game and party, and the host should invite the other player in. If that doesn’t work, we switch role as host until it’s working. Not really a solution but at least it worked for us.
-Still difficult to join up with friends and we usually have to quit the game and restart it multiple times to get things to work
-Still being put on the opposite team from friends
-Still takes a while to find a match
-Parties are still broken up after the party leader exits out of matchmaking
-Uneven teams in MP
-Campaign crashes/lag in CE and 3
-Unable to continue from checkpoints in campaign. You have to start the level over.
-Halo CE MP is usually pretty laggy and the spawns are terrible. I’ve been spawned multiple times right into the middle of firefights and right next to enemy team members
-Not sure if it’s an issue with the party app or the game, but sometimes I won’t be able to hear people in my party anymore (they can hear me) and I’ll have to restart my Xbox
Halo 1 CE IS UNPLAYABLE- Halo 2 IS UNPLAYABLE- Halo 3 has unbearable frame rate drop + tearing- All 3 games suffer from input lag, I can only co-op on Halo 4 (that one made by 343… such a coincidence)- Medals don’t show up in scoring campaign… since the “mighty over 1GB” patch.- Random overlaping UI menus- Button controls label not showing in UI, it’s random too.- Disconnecting controller
I’m sorry for the Match making guys but the priority should be fixing the UI and mostly the campaign. This collection is about a story, about a series of campaigns.
90% of the games content are from the campaign, especially co-op oriented content and IS NOT PLAYABLE AT ALL !
