HCEA: On The Maw level, after I reach the top of the elevator and take a Warthog to escape, the countdown start at 00:00:00 and the ship explodes.
First time I escaped no countdown was shown then i crashed with the hog and died of “flood cause”. Now I have a checkpoint on top of the elevator and can’t neither exit the hogs hangar before the pillar detonate. Someone had the same problem?

> Please write all of your bugs below for me Single Player & Matchmaking is not working at all like noting besides frozen menu screens, endless searching for games, missions keep crashing on me on all 4 stories. So please fix all of these problems 343 or you will continue to ruin Halo’s name.Keep posting your bugs here so that 343 can read them Edit 343 Industries should still compensate everyone still experiencing major bugs in HMCC.

Who are you??

HELP! I am on Halo CE in the Library riding the elevators up and I can’t seem to get enemies to spawn to help advance so the monitor opens the next giant door. Does anybody here know of a fix for this other than restarting the level itself? Restarting at the checkpoint hasn’t helped. It’s called “But I Don’t Want to Ride the Elevator!” and the enemies will not spawn so that I can kill them all and let the monitor open the next door. Funny thing is I can hear the monitor singing and all behind the giant door, but he won’t open it. And I know it’s a glitch because the Halo enemy music won’t stop looping. HELP! Thanks. My gamertag is OperaMando

Master chief collection frame rate problems - please fix 343i.

Halo: stuttering while driving in warthog in open levels such as halo and the 30fps animations.

Halo 2 anniversary: not any major frame rate drops but annoying micro stutter when turning camera in more open levels such as delta halo and especially the later arbiter levels. Similar to last of us remastered when turning camera too fast in 60fps mode.

Halo 3: pretty smooth for the most part except the beginning of the level covenant after the crash landing. Such abysmal performance that it’s so irritating to play on heroic and legendary.

Halo 4: runs pretty smooth for the most part after that one update that fixed the horrendous fps drop into the 30 fps mark.

And other annoying things like the low res hud in combat evolved, especially noticeable in the warthog gunner seat and the terrible lod transition. I mean things are literally loading right in front of the warthog in halo 3 for example.

Sad ad as it sounds I don’t think these are ever going to be ironed out because they’re gonna be too busy patching the multiplayer until halo 5 comes out and ditch this. Might sound like minor complaints to some but I’m not really a multiplayer person and prefer single player experiences and these are some of my favourite campaigns. Just sucks because they deserve a higher level of polish. I’d even settle for a 30 fps lock at this point to have some level of consistency across the board, but sadly these are never gonna get addressed.

I payed money for this game, it was not a demo or beta version. There is a reason software quality exists and is to avoid all the bugs and glitches on your software. I am unable to finish Halo Combat Evolved in the Master Chief Collection because it freezes and kicks me out to the main home. If i pat for a game I expect for it to work fully not partially.

All of my problems have happened in online co-op. Regret game crashes during the regret beating or in the immediate cutscene after the beating. Quarantine Zone me and my buddie get desynched (me and my friend are split into different game worlds and the other player controlled by a dummy ai that runs in one direction to its death) either at the beginning near the wraiths area or in the open area before entering the gondola ride to the index. Halo 3 in general has intense frame rate lag when playing online co-op to the point where its unplayable (ex: Tsavo Highway near the end; the storm starting from the beginning, etc).

Waiting since the game came out for fixes, still no change in 343 actually addressing or even talking about fixing these problems. This sucks, 343 did a good job when they created Halo 4 but this current game MC Collection has been nothing but a disaster. Their lack of transparency in regards to this game has been an epic display of incompetence. I also doubt they actually reading their own forums since they still haven’t addressed our issues or even hinted of trying to address the issues. Its been almost 6 months and this game still not fixed yet.

For the love of god, 343 if your actually reading this please fix the co-op campaign. Me and my friends want to enjoy playing the old campaigns on the xbox one, not be constantly fustrated over the games problems when trying to have fun and enjoy the game.

Wow

There are a few things I have encountered that are troublesome and kind of annoying (especially to somebody with OCD).

  • Firstly, my Elite allies and enemies in Halo 2 Anniversary do not duel-wield in campaign mode, when/where they were scripted to do so in Halo 2 Classic.- Secondly, a glitch that carried over from Halo 2 Classic (that seems, at least to me, to be more prevalent now) is on the Quarantine Zone gondola, which barely worked to begin with. The AI just doesn’t behave like how they should. The Elites just stand around and don’t fight (once again the elites aren’t duel-wielding the weapons they should be) and the Flood will either jump to their deaths or miss 5 hits before connecting on the Elites that are just standing around.- Thirdly, audio for Allies in Halo 1 Anniversary and Halo 2 Anniversary is often times barely audible. You have to literally stand right next to them, in order to just barely hear anything that they say. - Fourthly, it seems that audio either lags behind; like in Halo 1 Anniversary, when Chief gets out of the cryo pod and steps down on the floor, the sound of his boots touching the ground are delayed by a few seconds, or glitches out and doesn’t work, like in all the games, there are times where the music will not play in the zone where it should or a reloading sound doesn’t occur when it should.- Finally, it seems that the actions the player performs in Halo 1 Anniversary have a slight delay (about 1.5 seconds or a little less) from the corresponding control. This is quite problematic, especially on higher difficulties, with jumping and having to shoot first in a massive firefight on Legendary difficulty. With cooperative lagging in Halo 1 Anniversary, this delay is even more unbearable. Please address and fix these problems as soon as possible! Thank you

Yea man this is unreal. Everyone seems to be having so many problems. I’m so fed up of these frame rate problems and glitches. Is there any way at all to compile a list of all major problems and bring it to 343i’s attention? Any way to get in touch with them at all? A petition maybe? Strength in numbers might get their attention. We all paid good money for this and quite honestly we deserve a product that performs as it’s advertised. They could have just done the halo 2 remaster with the multiplayer to focus on one product and everyone would still have been ecstatic. But instead they chose to do all 4 and bit off way more than they could chew. The games look great and it is a great collection but it is severely lacking polish. I’ve played all these countless times on the older xboxes and don’t remember them being this difficult to play through due to technical reasons. Major disservice to the halo brand.

We tried to communicate using many possible methods of communications. They know of the problems, but they don’t care enough to respond or even address our concerns since they already got our money and they releasing their next big game in a few months. Almost 6 months have gone by and they still haven’t addressed the issues the campaigns been having, and their attempts to update a game has been at most once every 1-2 months.

Once Halo 5 is released, expect any and all support for this game to be fully dead or close to it. Only method left is possibly a class action lawsuit, that might get their attention on the problems we been having since they knowingly and willingly sold us a defective product. They breaching their claim of warranty that that this game was 100% done and playable for the masses. Even if we don’t have a claim to move this case forward to trial or win at trial, just the announcement of one should be enough to give them a shock to their system to actually fix this game.

AAA games as of late have been rushed to release but have been unplayable upon release. Anyone remember the problems battlefield 4 had or even the problems Assassins Creed Unity had when those games were released and how long it took their respective companies to patch the games problems. At least those games are now more playable unlike the current Master Chief Collection.

Oh wow that’s ridiculous that we’d have to go to that extent to get their attention, but honestly I think one of these companies does need a lawsuit to keep them in check. I feel like this generation has just been the worst so far. I had a blast with my 360 and PS3 and really regret selling those and buying the Xbox one and ps4. So far it’s been nothing but disappointment. They didn’t bother with backwards compatibility and are now pumping remasters down our throats. A trend that’s likely to continue in the next cycle of consoles. Why sell a more expensive machine that can play older games then selling a cheaper one and making even more money by rerelease get those games? The horrendous day one patches and the micro transaction (which existed last generation but seems to be only getting worse,) a complete lack of demos and the worst of all the whole 1080p 60fps issue. I don’t know why resolution and frame rate became so important to everybody when these machines were announced when it was never important before. I feel like developers worry more about reaching that target to please the masses then their own vision of the product. Look at this collection for example. The Xbox is clearly capable of running them at the 1080p60fps but they didn’t bother to optimize and were too afraid to either run at 30fps or lower the resolution to 900p for a smoother 60fps because of the backlash they might get. Can’t blame them either especially when sites like ign and gamespot putting out headlines about resolution and framerate for every other game. I wish developers were more confident in their vision and stick to it. Look at insomniac with sunset overdrive. They realized their vision of the game wouldn’t work with 1080p or 60fps and announced 900p30fps and stuck to their guns despite the backlash. And honestly after playing the game I wouldn’t have it any other way. The amount of chaos going on I’d hate to see the game attempt 60fps. Look at the ps2 it steamed rolled its competition despite having the worst graphics of the 3. Some of the biggest games last gen were sub hd. I wish developers would just focus on their vision and not get influenced by unreal expectations and just focus on making fun games that run great and don’t have as many glitches as this game.

Enough of that rant though, you guys think maybe getting in touch with Microsoft and making some noise about all these glitches will help since it’s a Microsoft owned studio? Phil spencer perhaps?

Whenever I forge and save my map (or save as) I receive a message saying that my map was saved successfully BUT only about 50% of the forged maps I’ve done have actually been saved on the console. So far I’ve lost over 7 hours of forge work ON TWO DIFFERENT CONSOLES. One time i saved my map 3 or 4 times for good measure and the map still disappeared when I left the game. There are way too many responses on this thread for me to see how many people are having this issue but since it has happened on multiple consoles, i am certain that its not a localized problem.

Halo 2 Campaign will not load for me. Very weird. All other Campaigns work fine

My current issues listed below which need to be fixed:

  1. Control layout randomly revert & I have to open my controls menu to fix it.

  2. Other people can’t join a custom game while it’s in progress.

  3. Takes forever to find one matchmaking game no matter what playlist I choose.

  4. Doesn’t show all friends who are current playing MCC on the menu.

  5. Audio cut outs on specific parts of a map or mission especially Halo 2 Anniversary.

  6. Servers timing out in matchmaking even right before it begins.

  7. Game randomly crashes.

Is it any wonder as to why I play my original Halo 1 and Halo 2 discs? Audio is having tremendous problems, like it cuts out or doesn’t happen or is too soft to hear. I’m in the middle of playing the game on different difficulties and it just crashes and takes me to the Xbox Home screen. Sometimes when I start it up I get an error message and it crashes again… There are spots where my friendly AI just don’t move and don’t even say anything, like their AI just gives up on life or something

I installed the new halo game April 26th it is now may 2. I have tried to play on Xbox live every morning and every night. Sadly I haven’t been in a single match no matter how long I leave it in matchmaking. I’ve tried to back out and start again with zero difference. Also I have Uninstalled the game and reinstalled and guess what nothing changed. All I can say it WTF is going on. Any hints let’ me know.

Glitch in the game that when I pause it, sound stops. Also been trying to load up Reclaimer for about 15 minutes now and every time it freezes and goes back to main menu. After half a year you’d think bugs like this would be sorted out.

Found a recurring crash bug.
It happens in Halo 2 when I try load a save point immediately after having quit a level. I’ve been trying to complete the LASO playlist, by using Save and Quit to avoid the Iron skull, then using Resume.

The game will crash during the mission loading screen. Not everytime, but often.
