Notable Bugs:
1.) Stuck in leaving Matchmaking (doesn’t happen consistently). Shutting off Xbox doesn’t work because you guys the Xbone saves the games state. We must unplug the Xbone to get out of it.
2.) Games take forever to find (worse than when Halo 2 first came to xbl and that’s saying something)
Improvements:
1.) Performance issues (could be my end too), but it’s fine when I’m on the 360 playing say Halo 4.
2.) We would like to see the # of players playing a playlist, where did this go? Sometimes I wonder if it’s stuck finding people because there is no one (wouldn’t surprise me).
Keep at it 343! I know it can be difficult.
The Halo 2 missions Metropolis, Quarantine Zone and Uprising will freeze for me, always in the same place. I can’t get through these missions and my disc is not visibly damaged.
I also don’t understand why watching terminals in any of the games in this collection is so tedious. It makes playing Halo CE aniv on the 360 better than on the Xbone.

I was having the same issues. A friend and I went through that level 5 times having it crash on us at the end at random points. We were able to get through the level by playing the whole level in classic mode and skipping the cutscenes. I know, takes you out of the experience, but I don’t know what else to do make it through without crashing.
Is anyone else having trouble with Halo 3 getting stuck on loading page, the page isn’t frozen it just keeps trying to load if anyone has dealt with this issue successfully please let me know…I already uninstalled and re-installed that didn’t not change anything
MCC: Halo 4 - Shutdown. On trying to resume the campaign mission, the progress bar completes and then the game hangs playing an awful noise and then closes. 343, it’s coming up on 3 months since the release of this game. I am disappointed. All we needed you to do was port it from a 32-bit to a 64-bit system. I think a plethora of Halo fans will discontinue our support if you don’t get your act together.
Thought I would list a few problems which are still annoying even though not as common as a lot of others. Some of these may have been mentioned but I am not scrolling through everything.

Time and scores not showing up in campaign when times or scoring is turned on.

Blowing up enemy vehicles in Halo 2 takes away scoring.

Punishment which is the remastered version of Heavy Price Paid is for some reason in the cross game playlist menu instead of Halo 2’s menu music.

Leaderboards not working properly.

Scoring and Speedruns not showing or taking forever to load.

Halo 2 classic emblems all look the same and you can’t edit them.
Question them all you like. These can easily be fixed but probably won’t be.
I am not able loading the Halo 4 Mission (Shutdown) my screen keeps freezing and makes a loud noise that I’m afraid will break my Xbox One.I have been getting this problem for a month now and still not fixed.What is 343 doing with there time? I wanna be able playing Single Player Halo at least.
i am sick and freaking tired of Every. Single. Match in Halo 4 matchmaking there is AT LEAST one ‘black screen of death’, sometimes two, and occassionally even THREE TIMES (llike just now on longbow heavies).
Now I know 343 engineers are gonna read this and be like 'nothing we can do, its your crappy american intertubes that suck). Well, freaking pressure congress, make a deal w google fiber, whatever you have to do, to make what’s otherwise a great game go from awesome to almost unplayable.
In closing. Sick of black screens of death. Multiple ones. Every time.
Halo 3:
Unable to use Plasma Rifles, Spikers, Beam Rifles, Carbine, Maulers, Fuel Rod Guns and Sentinel Beams as starting weapons in custom games.
My laso playlist gamesave is buggy. When i try to resume my Truth and Reconciliation mission (i’m on the 2 hunters in the ship part) i get launched back to my dashboard. The game even restarts to the point where if i press the menu button on the game it wont even say “quit”. Usually if an app or game is running it will give you the “quit” option. It has worked 5 times in the past 30 times i’ve tried.
I just started the Laso halo 4 campaign playlist and finished the mission Dawn. I advanced onto the second mission Requiem and just after I finished fighting off the covenant across the bridge and entered the tunnel to the next area to fight more covies i ended up dying but halo Didn’t restart the mission it just froze. I tried restarting my console and the loading screen comes up for mission Requiem but it freezes and exits the game to the dashboard.
We are havin a problem with the map and the items disappearing on us in halo 4 mission 6 reclaimed after you destroy the second particle cannon. Can you please fix it and thank you.
Has anyone else’s just stop at the main menu like where it says press start because that is happening to right now it’s becoming annoying because I was only able to once and I got the game yesterday

Not sure if this is the right place for this but after trying everything under the sun I’m left to assume it’s the game and not my Xbox…
The game loads to the menu screen fine up to the point where you’re supposed to hit the menu button. You hit any button, the circles (around halo) stop and a very annoying buzzing sound occurs. If you wait, it automatically takes you to the Xbox home screen (where the buzzing continues for about ten seconds or so). After looking on Microsoft support site, thinking it could be my disk player, they say that if the game loads but then crashes it’s more than likely the game.
My husband and I both have a copy and this happens with both disks (neither are dirty or scratched; my husband’s has only been used once or twice). I don’t have any other Xbox game disks to try. But, I did uninstall the entire collection and am currently reinstalling. However I’m not very hopeful, as once it got to where you can start the game while installing I tried it and it’s still doing the same thing.
I’ve tried hard resetting and also turned off auto start and turned on energy saver (according to Microsoft this can help).
I have been playing rather successfully up until this started yesterday afternoon.
Any ideas?
Guess I’ll go buy some cheap game disk tomorrow just for testing purposes; either that or throw this whole damn contraption away…not sure yet!
UPDATE: Well, bought Sniper Elite today to test the disk tray. No issues installing or playing it. So, I’m left to assume it’s Halo…Anybody else having this issue or know of a fix?
UPDATE II: Was loathe to do it but I reset the Xbox to factory default, installed Halo and it works. Also, in researching this, there are lots of other games having this issue so it looks like a system issue. Almost want to start a new post because in researching this apparently there are TONS of folks that don’t know the difference in buzzing and whirring when it comes to computers. Lol.

Are you getting the loud buzzing sound too and it automatically goes back to Xbox home?
If you think 343 or Microsoft cares about this broken mess you are kidding yourself. They are closing in on Halo 5 and most likely doing everything they can not to be embarrassed again with the disaster that is Halo MCC. There should have been firings, refunds, free games, etc. to anyone that bought this game. They couldn’t even add on an achievement with that not being bugged. The Halo series is in very incapable hands. I bet Bungie is laughing their butts off.
Scrolled through a few pages and you can’t find one Admin, or representative of 343 answering questions. Community comes first? Nope.
In Halo 4 i notice there is no weapon tuning, sometimes the light rifle gets bugged and makes a two-shot burst.
And Generally, sometimes the game kicks every player.

I had played Halo: Master Chief Collection before December 19th of 2014, I still have not received my exclusive in game content for some odd reason. How do I get this fixed or who should I talk to about this?
