Probably a lot of you have said the same thing about the Halo: CE multiplayer…But I’m gonna say it anyhow. I BELIEVE the multiplayer for Halo: CE is horrifically unbalanced.
The pistol is highly over-powered. I was shot 2-3 times before I died. The same couldn’t be said for me. Took me over 5 shots to kill someone. But then again, I probably just suck with a pistol.
Melee is over-powered, too. Three bars of health, full shield. One hit, and I was dead.
Not to mention the horrendous spawning locations. I respawn, and I’m dead within seconds because there’s an enemy rounding the corner, or I’m spawned right in with my allies who are taking fire, and I die in a flurry of frag grenades.
Also, another thing happened while I was matchmaking with a friend. It booted my friend out of the lobby I was in, and he said that he was in a different game. I back out. I go to invite my friend back to my party. All of a sudden, I’m in a damn game. What the deuce?
Also ALSO. My controller keeps disconnecting, even though it’s connected up to my Xbox. But that isn’t the issue! I was in a lobby, and my controller disconnected. Booted me right out of the game. Or rather, I was still in the lobby, but it was only just me.
EDIT: Another strange thing while playing matchmaking. Map was chosen. Got past loading screen. Was stuck on black screen with “Waiting for space to clear” for a few minutes. Never got in to match.

I suggest that you avoid playing Halo CE in co-op. Right now it’s worser than ever. Before the latest update, the only level affected by that kind of problem is Halo. Now it affects all levels and it can happen anytime.

I have updated my controller before and it still happening. However with the recent patch it no longer doing that.
so i just completed reclaimer on legendary and its not giving me my achievement also one lvl on the waypoint says i completed a mission on co op and i did it on solo and no one else was in the game with me…so i didnt get an achievement and now its saying i completed a lvl on co op wich i did not…hope they get a patch out to fix this cuz i really dont want to redo lvls on legendary that i already did.
343 better read some of this

Halo 4: this is the only campaign that I have tried to play through since getting the game and I have had to restart the game 2 times due to corrupt game saves that would sputter on the loading screens until glitching the sound and exiting to the Xbox main menu. Now, I had a game saved on the Reclaimer mission, played through to the beginning of the Composer mission’s cutscene…when the game began to load the scenes after the ship warps and Master Cheif is atop one of the warping ships, the screen goes to black…freezes and so I start the game back up and low and behold…I am now back at the first reclaimer save and get to play all over again. I have experienced fewer bugs while playing Assassin’s Creed Unity…343, please fix the actual campaigns instead of focusing your efforts solely on multiplayer…
For me the HUD for scoring and time does not show up on the screen. Anyone else have this issue? I haven’t seen it mentioned very much on here.

Same issue here. The headshot/double kill/etc. medals still appear but the counter doesn’t. I somehow forced it to appear after tinkering around with the pre-game settings and letting the cutscene play out but have not been able to replicate it since.
A very strange glitch happened to me yesterday on Truth and Reconciliation co-op, where I froze in place on my screen but my friend could see my spartan running around which I still had full control over.
It’s been out for a month now. I’m really losing interest at this point.
The game keeps taking me back several missions for no reason. ie; The last one took me from Halo4 Mission 8 back to Mission 4. I am not wasting my time getting back through it all, I will just trade the game back in so the developers can’t get more money for a sub par product.
Every single one of my achievements has just been reset except for ones that are already unlocked.

This is what’s happening now. Before, when the game first launch, you get the disconnection problem, and both of you can’t move. This time around, after the latest update, it seems like the guest will stuck. You can press any button on your controller and the host can see what you’re doing, but on your screen, you can’t even move. It will go on for around 5-10 minutes before both lose control of the game and had to quit.
Coop game in all campaings sometimes get freeze for whom one dies, but connection don’t lost, it’s like been in different dimensions
Completed Assault on the Control Room Legendary solo for Halo: CE. While in game Mission Menu shows as completed, no achievement was unlocked and achievement progress meter shows as if I never played that level.
Massive audio bugs have left each campaign completely broken for me. In Halo: CE, the audio constantly repeats itself dozens of times and will consistently freeze the game in an attempt to keep up with the greatly late finished audio clip. Halo 2: Anniversary is the only campaign I can play, but the gun sound effects still rarely line up with when I actually shoot the gun. In Halo 3, there just isn’t any audio whatsoever. In Halo 4, background sounds constantly cut in and out. In addition, character dialogue is often spoken Kate and results in characters saying several lines at once while also completely cutting off other characters that are supposed to be speaking. Nothing in this game works.
I live in an apartment. I am hardwired with an Open NAT type. I have 9 Mbps down and 3.5 Mbps up. I am playing by myself, two people, or three people total in a party. Since the last update, I am finally able to find games and play some.
I can still not play the Ranked playlist though. We found a game in there and it was super laggy. I sat at black screen for most of the game.
Everytime we go into a game as a party, we cannot chat during the game. It is quite frustrating. We have been able to get into games on the Halo 2 Classic and Halo 3, but it is still glitchy and somewhat laggy. In the middle of the game, we will just not be able to hear each other and sometimes even after the game it will kick us out of the party all together.
This is ridiculous. You had one job in this game. Get it ready for Matchmaking. You can’t even do that. How do you expect people to purchase Halo 5 or even be around for the beta if you cannot get this working.
H2: game stuck on pause screen mid game solo campaign unable to do anything frozen and stays that way every time i try to play the game (started on the 17th) so unable to do anything on the the game major game breaker it even continues if you turn the xbox off and back on
NOT REGISTERING COMPLETED MISSIONS ON HALO 2 CO-OP: I played the hole halo 2 campain on co-op legandary without any skulls. I then looked at the achievments menu and it said i had done 69% of the halo 2 campain, this means i aparently have 5 missions i haven’t done, even though i have and i have no idea which missions i aparently haven’t done as it doesn’t tell you.
I only play campaign offline, and I haven’t experienced any problems
