Halo: The Escape [Idea/Planning]

Hey guys!

This is an idea I’ve had for a long time.
I wanted to make a game: ‘Halo: The Escape’ starring Linda (easter egg from Halo 1, she was also aboard the Pillar of Autumn)

I tried to make the game, but didn’t know anything about game development at the time. Now I know a lot more, and made some custom reload animations for Halo 2.
But since I’m working on a game engine, I want to pick up this old idea again.

> Q: Will the engine be open-source? A: I’m not sure, but I doubt it.
> Q: Will I be able to mod the game ? A: Yes! I love modding so I’m trying to make the engine as modder-friendly as I can!

Tools being used:

-Visual Studio 2008 C++ - Coding the engine, and software for the engine.
-3dsmax 2012 - 3D stuff
