So I’ve been developing a tabletop (sort of) game using Halo action figures (the 5-inch scale ones that have been made since Halo 3).
If tabletop games are your thing, and you’ve been looking for something different and/or you own some of these action figures, give 'er a checking out! See if it interests you. Give some feedback.
Halo: Tabletop Combat Evolved homepage
> Halo: Tabletop Combat Evolved is a community-designed tabletop game that uses 5-inch scale Action Figures from the Halo games.
> Players take turns assigning each of their Units a variety of Actions, such as moving or attacking enemy Units. There are two types of gameplay: Total War, which lets players pick their army based on a Unit’s Point Value, and gives them unrestricted access to the entire Halo universe; or Competitive which only lets players use Spartan and Elite characters and limits players based on Unit count (i.e. 4v4 or 8v8). A player wins a game by achieving the objective determined at the start of the game: If the game type is Slayer, a player wins if he or she reaches the specified number of kills; in Elimination, a player wins once opposing players’ units are all killed; and in Capture the Flag, a player wins once they bring the specified number of enemy flags back to their base.

> A game of Halo: TCE may be played anywhere, in any location, as long as the playspace is mutually agreed upon by all participating players. Examples of playspaces: A tabletop miniatures arena, a back yard, or even an entire house. Be sure to agree on the boundaries of the area that your Units may not pass.

> In order to play, you’ll need the following:
>
> 1) Any Action Figures and other pieces you wish to use from the Halo universe (proportional to a 5" tall Spartan). You need to physically own anything you wish to use.
> 2) Accessible copy of the Codex for reference for Units, Weapons, and other necessary information
> 3) Paper, pencils, and an eraser to track Unit HP, ammo use, et cetera
> 4) Ruler or measuring tape for accurate distance measurement. This game uses measurements in Centimeters (abbreviated ‘cm’)
> 5) A variety of different dice, and coins, for determining Attack outcomes
> 6) OPTIONAL: String, tape, or other such method of marking Spawn Zones, and Objectives such as Flag Spawn Zones, or hills in King of the Hill
