Should some Halo games take the survival horror route in the future? Think about it. You’re a Spartan or a lowly marine on a treacherous, hellish world trying to find a way to survive while encountering insane insurrectionists, zealous members of the Covenant Remnants, and Created patrols. However, as the days go on, you begin to lose your sanity until there is nothing left. Whataya think about that?
- Make a game based on The Mona Lisa
- ???
- Profit
Hell yeah! You could play as a marine stranded on a glassed world, or in a flood infested area.
Wouldn’t work if you were a Spartan because you would just blow up the planet somehow, and do it in style.
but could work if you were a marine

This could work.
Just go load up Cortana on legendary. About the same feeling.
everybody is going to say reach sucks but the end of reach I think it was lone wolf or something been a while but they need to bring it back

Yes!! I would love to play a game like that!
An ODST stuck in a flood infestation would work rather well in this genre.
All Flood levels are essentially survival horror. .__.

this
Something along the Mona Lisa would be best. Probably the best short I’ve ever read. I think it would be kind of hard to believe that a marine could last so long. Maybe if it starts out hopeful, with a very large marine presence, but as you continue, the support decreases, the platoon shrinks, the squads ends up as 1 man…But i do remember a marine in Halo:The Flood getting pretty far in the library before 343 found MC.
