Hi was wounded dose halo infinite story continue from halo 5. I know the banished are an enemy you fight in halo wars 2 but last I check humanity were fighting Catania and the rebellion of AI. What’s happened to them or is halo infinite a have 4 reboot?
i hope someone can give me a answer soon because I wanted to do a stream of the halo campaigns before halo infinite gets here.

Halo: Infinite is a soft reboot of the Halo franchise. It takes places two or three years after Halo 5: Guardians.
Oh ok what about Cortana and the rebel ai and what do you mean by soft reboot? Dose this mean that what happen in halo 4
and 5 dose not happen
Halo infinite continues the halo 5 story while reframing everything better.
In short: everything is still canon and continues normally
