Halo 5 and the Quest for Max Rank
It’s been a few months since I wrote this, but I just remembered the community creations section of the Waypoint forums existed. Basically it’s a blog post about my adventure to SR152 and my thoughts on it once I completed the grind. It’s a short read (roughly 3 minutes) and I’ve gotten better at writing since this was first uploaded back on March 16th, but I’ll leave it here anyway.

You still have plenty of time to get to 152 before Infinite comes out.

Good luck, but remember that you aren’t halfway to 152 until you’re 1M xp into 150

It’s definitely doable. I suggest always making sure you have an xp boost of some kind active for matches. What I did was play arena until I ran out of arena xp boosts, then swap to warzone until I ran out of warzone xp boosts. Once you run out of the warzone ones, you should have some arena ones again. Just keep swapping back and forth like that and you’ll never run out. Also WZA and WZFF are the best WZ variants for xp while Infection is the best arena playlist. However, just play whatever is fun to you at the time. You’ll never make it to max level if you get burnt out on the way there.

God this hurt to read, I’m at 147, really hoping to close out Halo 5 before MCC comes out with Reach and their progressive seasons.

I’m not sure when Reach is coming to MCC, but it took me 5 months of playing a couple hours per day just to go from 151 to 152.
