Halo SPV3 Soundtrack - ReImagining Halo Music

Hi Guys! Its me again.(The guy of the 117 ReMix)

You Can listen to the soundtrack here! (It has timestaps) Hope you like it!

The Idea of The Soundtrack is simple. Its been 15 years of Halo so nostalgia is a strong concept behind it. I wanted you to feel like if you were playing the Halo: CE for the first time and well that went pretty well. I play several times before doing an arrangement so that way it fits in the best way possible In-Game.

All Marty’s work become a subject of study for me so I prepared myself for almost 4 months before arranging the rest of the soundtrack (My Initial arrangements weren’t bad but later tracks proved they could be better also my laptop died so I had to start again). Also 343i was a big reference so I could make everything again but making it feel new, modern and diferent from the source material without messing everything. The Tracks you are listening today were made in a span of 2-3 months. Volume 2 Will have same number of tracks and some new versions of the current material!

What Is SPV3?

SPV3 is a total overhaul of the Halo 1 campaign for the PC. The mod not only includes new weapons, enemies, vehicles, areas to explore and levels, but also contains easter eggs such as terminals that explain the changes to the story, and skulls which add new twists onto the gameplay. It is finely tuned to provide an optimal experience on Legendary difficulty, just like the original game was, and also includes an all new difficulty level “Noble” difficulty. AND OF COURSE IT ALSO HAS A REARRANGED / REMASTERED SOUNDTRACK.

How was this made?
Everything you are listening to right now was achieved thanks to Kontakt Libraries and FL Studio. If you have any doubts about this do not doubt in write it in the comments and I’ll do my best. Also I do not use midis I rearrange and transcribe all by myself and ear. I may release full orchestra sheets someday.

Who are the guys behind this?
Me of course . I am in charge of all the arrangements (except guitar arrangements) of orchestra and some electronic synths.

Robbie “Scias” Johnson:

Our guitarrist responsible of the sick solos of Rock Anthem For Saving The World. He also has an amazing original track that will be released along the Original Soundtrack EP. Great guy.

Oh yeah, you. I saw some of the soundtracks on your YT channel. I have something to say to you, my friend.

Well done. Well -Yoinking!- done.

The soundtrack, from what we have now since only the first half of SPV3 is out, has been stunning. My favorite part of it is the remade vocals. I sometimes hum the halo chants out of habit and just for the fact that it can help me calm down and focus on stuff. The remade vocals give off more of an angelic and heavenly vibe than even the originals do. Your work really goes along with the overall goal of the mod, and I feel that you not only enhance the experience, but make it better. As a fellow musician (I play guitar), this music is some of the best I’ve seen. Really hearkens back to the old days of just roaming around Halo to the Cartographer beach fight to the Maw’s Warthog Run. And even if we haven’t heard half of the music yet, I am confident that the next set will be just as great as the last. Thank you for the work you have done, and I as well as others, look forward to what’s next.

Sorry if I seem too fanboyish, I just think this guy deserves more credit than he gets. Same for Masters and the CMT team in general.

I agree. I’ve only played “The Pillar of Autumn” and “Halo” so far but I’m looking forward to playing the rest of the levels.
