Halo SpiltScreen using Microsoft Cloud Technology

I’m a newbie to this forum. I have seen many “Halo 5 Split Screen” threads but don’t know how to post on them as there is no “reply” button… So i decided to create a thread…

I’m just wondering since Microsoft has a robust & powerful Cloud infrastructure and the demo of Crackdown 3 pre-alpha, why can’t 343 use Microsoft cloud technology like what we see in crackdown 3 pre-alpha demo to do split-screen?

See here:

I mean since the devs addresses that the game requires demanding hardware, they can use the ms cloud technology to balance the load between the graphics and in game calculations (Such as map environment, complex calculation) isn’t it?

IMO i really think its possible as there are technology such as nvidia shield streaming, games that have beautiful graphics that are streamed on high-end nvidia servers/supercomputers. Whereas for AI its possible to have a separate server from graphics so that the game can run smoothly.

Microsoft cloud hasn’t been all that impressive, so far. Also, I’m fairly sure this idea has crossed 343’s minds. Honestly, if 343 could do split-screen, they would.

The reply button is at the top of the thread, not sure how you missed that.

The reason those threads didn’t have a reply button is because they were locked. If you don’t see a reply button, and you scroll down and don’t see a reply box, it’s a pretty good indication that the thread is locked. To spot a locked thread before entering it, look for a padlock symbol next to the thread title on the list of threads.

The reason these discussions have been locked is because their is a dedicated splitscreen thread HERE. Use this thread to discuss any and all things related to splitscreen.

Seems plausible and complicated at the same time.

Because he’s a liar. His very first post was a reply to another thread.

There’s already a splitscreen thread. Thanks.
