I was not one of the people to play Halo 4 before Nov 20th to get early access to the specializations, as i got halo 4 for christams, i am close to level 70, 67 to be exact and read somewhere that two specializations will be released to everyone who played after November 20th, on January 21st (Pioneer and Pathfinder), tomorrow as i write this, this may be a dumb question, but how will we receive these specializations, i am asking because apparently for those who received the infamous email i read about for the early access has made 343i look very dumb and has created friction among Halo fans and 343i, my question is will this released be given by email again or will it be an add-on or update from 343, if anyone may know the answer to this your response is appreciated, thanks
I’m guessing they will automatically be unlocked for you server side. So when you boot up your game after the unlock date/time you’ll have them.

i did a little more research and found the bulletin they released on 1/9/13 and it said that there will also be a forge test playlist added and spartan ops episode 6 so im guessing that the specializations will come with the update

Partially correct…
According to the Halo Bulletin those 2 specializations will be available <mark>to ALL PLAYERS</mark>. I do expect that they will be available directly inside the game.
Other specializations in next weeks, 2 for each week.

you’re correct, i should have phrased that differently but the people that played prior to November 20th received an email for early access, so that is why i said those that played after November 20th, i did read the bulletin, i did not pay attention to it when released, but i found it and read it and believe my questions have been answered, if not i will be back on here asking more questions im sure
Meanwhile, players that had the Limited Edition (and how limited it was…geeeeesus) about the same time, reached SR 130 with all specs and now…see the rest of the world have access to the very same things. And get capped at SR 130 till the hell freezes…

It seems a bit amateur to take a system that’s proven effective (h2 and h3 ranking) and throw it in the trash and then go an implement a system made popular by the call of duty franchise to appease eleventeen year olds. I’m still baffled by this company. I’m assuming thry do alot of drugs.

Yup, I am one of those stuck at SR 130. I have played my armor off to get here and now I just sit by watching everyone else catch up. Totally defeats the purpose of ranking up when every other noob will be at my rank in a few weeks.
Is 343 going to do something to get the ranks going again and if so I really hope it is soon because now I really have nothing left to achieve in the game.
