So I was able to get both Spartan Strike and Spartan Assault with the game-pass, installed them through the xbox app, and when I try to launch the game the logos would show up but after that nothing just a black screen. I have both games on PC. Anyone know a fix for this?

Okay, and how many times have you tried to load the games? I’m wondering if this is a Game Pass for PC error since it’s in Beta. I purchased both games, without game pass, from a link to the Microsoft store from the Xbox app. Both have worked fine, except for some issues I posted about in another thread.
Multiple times. Every time I launch the games, they show the logos, and for a split second, I see some circular cursor then nothing, just a black screen. I can minimize the windows and everything, but its still just a black screen. I do have Spartan Assault on Steam (Forgot I had it there) installed it to test out if its working, and it works.
For some reason, the ones installed by the Game Pass won’t work, already tried reinstalling them as well.
Forgot to mention, I do have them installed in an external hard-drive.
That’s annoying. Maybe it’s just a Game Pass Beta error, but I’m really not an expert on that topic.

For anyone reading this in 2020, I ran into the same issue on a new low end windows 10 tablet. Issue turned out to be that I was trying to install all new apps on an sdcard, which worked fine for most things, but not Spartan Strike. I deleted and reinstalled it and it worked 100%.
