Halo spartan names?

I am making a Halo machinima, and I’m trying to think of spartan names, but most of them have already been taken or used elsewhere i.e Red vs Blue. Anyone got any good spartan names or code-names?

You can always go the easy way, make a unit, and just number them 1, 2, 3, 4 etc. Like Noble Team.

Abbreviated animal names seem to work pretty well because they can be used as code names. Kind of like Kat(Cat) and June(June bug) from from Reach. I know those were their names but you see what I’m getting at. Examples Ber(Bear), Ell (elephant), Mingo(Flamingo), Dag or Dagn(Dragon) and etc.

You can do colored rocks like sapphire and emerald or name people after stars
