halo spartan assault won't open

Hi there 343, I am having an issues with halo spartan assault that wont open on my Windows 8 pc. For example here is a video to the issues i am experiencing.

You, me and a whole cast of thousands man. So far all we’ve heard is “We’re working on it.” It’s maddening to say the least.

Yeah dude there is countless threads on this, with no real fix.

People have updated/downgraded video cards drivers, or installed 32bit windows instead of 64. Some people tried standing on one leg, while drinking half a glass of milk, only using their middle finger on their right hand, to load the program - there’s a lot of different ways people have succeeded in getting this game to work.

Some lucky people have had no dramas, but for us, we sit and we wait - I personally haven’t seen any response from the dev’s.

My issue is actually slightly different. I can get the game to open, but after I’ve been playing for about five minutes, it crashes back to the main Windows 8 menu, so it’s impossible to make any progress. Is anyone else having this particular problem?

Perhaps we should try sacrificing a goat and a -Yoink!- in the light of a full moon, surrounded by salt and garlic. Talking dirty to it doesn’t seem to work.

I tried dirty talk as well as some foreplay with mine, she almost put out for me but then complained about a headache and crashed back to the Start menu.

did you try uninstall the game and reinstall it??

Guys, this is VERY frustrating. There are thousands of people that have had these problems. There is minimal support for this. All the while we have had no compensation or activity reports from the developer. We have all paid for this game and CANNOT use it. I haven’t been able to get a refund or ANY sort of reply from 343i. I am not sure WTH they are doing but it does not seem like much. The irritating thing is is that no one has even seemed to remotely care about what is going on with thousands of their customers. We just get replys like “we are looking in to it.” Well…WTH DOES THAT MEAN!!! Again, I feel like I gave a homeless man $6.99 and he went and bought a pint of vodka instead of food. And if I want to see results for my hard earned money investment I will just have to sit around and wait for him to get sober.

343, LET US KNOW WHAT IT GOING ON SINCE WE CAN’T USE SOMETHING WE PAID FOR!!!

I think 343i should have a dedicated thread for all games were only 343 staff regularly post updates for current game issues/ bugs reported etc. so that we, the end user can see what they are doing about these issues without having to go through pages of threads/post to see if they have had the decency to respond.

Come on 343 this makes sense from a customer service point of view. So pls, do the right thing and keep us upto date on a fixed forum thread.

They definitely need to sticky one of the many many many threads about this problem, so I can just go to the one place and find out updates - not that they exist, but if they were to exist.

Why does it always have to be virgins! Why do these ‘gods’ get all the untainted ones! I’d say give them the goat, but dress it up as a -Yoink!- :stuck_out_tongue:

That’s it exactly. They’re untainted. If it got this game to work then maybe it might be worth it. Maybe not for the -Yoink!-. Or the goat. Although I think the goats are used to it by now.

Simple just turn the computer off and then back on, cause that always works. Or are you sure your computer is plugged into an outlet.

its fixed, my pc was unpluged !!

i bought the game i played a few levels fine i close the application, relaunch it and it tells me windows can’t open this file please check the app store for more information. i go to the store, go into my downloads says halo: spartan assault installed. i cant uninstall for i am using win8 and i have no clue what to do.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the game and see if you’re able to open the files then.
