I purchased halo spartan assault on my single Xbox/Microsoft account a few years ago on the Windows 8 store.
Recently I installed Windows 10 freshly, and am attempting to install/play Halo Spartan Assault. However, I am unable to get the game to sign-in. I have followed the in-game -> Microsoft Edge redirect on Xbox.com and signed in there, restarted the game to no avail. I have tried restarting the computer, reinstalling the game, and did a full operating system reformat, to no avail.
i have done a series of google and bing searches around this topic, but have been unable to fix it. Please advise.
PS: I just had the thought to add that I am able to get the windows Xbox app to sign up to my Microsoft account just fine.
