I tried looking for a previous thread on this but couldnt find one.
When I open Halo: Spartan Assault on my surface pro 2 with Win8.1 it is telling me that I need to login with the Microsoft Account that I purchased the game with. I can only start the game as a guest and cant login with my Microsoft account and xbox gamertag.
I only have one microsoft account and it is definitely the same one I downloaded the game with because my xbox games account and microsft store account have all the correct details about my spartan assault progress and achievements.
This problem first occurred when I formatted my computer. Prior to the format, the game was working fine. After the format when I reinstalled the game I started getting this error message.
I have spoken to pretty much everyone I can - xbox tech support, microsoft tech support for the MS store, general MS support and a tech who remote accessed my computer. They gave me some direct phone numbers to call to try to get it sorted out, but both numbers have been disconnected. WTF?
Can anyone help with this issue?
