So, I Completed All Specific Assault Ops and Achievement Didn’t Unlock ( I noticed others having similar issues ), but I did notice one reason why it didn’t unlock. let’s see if others have the same issue. On mine, Mission A-1, Two of my Assault ops went way over the required amount. For example:
warm up that pitching arm: 442 / 3
Rookie Target Practice: 435 / 20
Sidearm Slaughter: 3 / 3
So, I did notice that even though the game told me all were unlocked, because they went over ( not sure how ) it’s keeping my total at 88/90. Yet originally it said complete and checkmark. Can someone reset A-1 For me?? I’m sure it will work, or a patch to recognize that players have completed this?
By the way, all other ops specifics stayed within their target required 10/10 20/20 30/30 15/15 etc…
There is a known issue with the Extra Credit Achievement that is being investigated by our Spartan Assault team. We will keep the community updated as we make progress.
Thanks for bringing it up. I have the same problem only the Assault Op “Sidearm Slaughter” shows I have 208/50, and total Assault Ops complete read 89/90. Super frustrating when you’ve plugged that extra 3-5 hours into the game.
I agree. I’ve put enough time in all halo games to have every achievement possible ( very long time ) and to complete another halo game fully is always a goal. so, glitched achievements, yea not cool at all. I’m really amazed they are taking as long as they are. I did notice posts as long as a month ago!! that’s crazy.

Yes, it has been going on for a month. Sorry to say, Halo 4 has 7 achievements that have been glitched since August. Hopefully all 8 will be fixed soon.

Bean, you may wish to check out this new thread. It covers this glitch for both One and 360. I truly don’t know if 343i wants separate threads for One vs 360 or not. As I argue here, it is the same glitch on both platforms, so I think it makes sense to have one thread to cover both.
I also have encountered this ridiculous glitch a couple months ago. For Mission A-1 I have 65 out of 20 Elite Minors killed and no achievement. This is the last achievement that I need to unlock all the achievements and I am pretty upset that there is a glitch like this. It has been experienced by multiple different individuals across multiple platforms, which means that there is a design flaw in the game. 343, I understand that mistakes are made and that they are made every day. To me this is something I paid for that is not working properly. I am just wondering what is being done to remedy this glitch? I keep checking my game from time to time to see if there is an update. Thank you
I am having the same issue as well. It appears that I have 89/90 challenges completed, despite the fact that I have completed all of them. Is there an ETA for a fix?
Edit: Forgot to mention I’m using windows phone.
Same thing happened to me. Both my Xbox one version and 360 version say the same because they share the assault ops. Very annoying for this to happen

Same problem here. I’m showing 89/90 across 3 platforms W8 WP8 and xbox 360. I was able to get W8 and WP8 to pop by completing a weekly. Save the last weekly for the xbox 360 but it didn’t pop. Any word on a TU?

Which assault op is showing incomplete for you? Is it one that shows you have more than the requirements for the op? This seems to be happening to people who got more than they needed for the op prior to the last title update, which fixed it enough so that only the people who had been having the problem would continue to have it. Those who hadn’t already met or exceeded the requirements were, after the TU, able to unlock the op. That’s what happened with me.

I’m sorry to say the TU did not fix this counter glitch for new users. In this post, a new player has the issue. According to his Service Record, he began playing on March 19. The TU for Xbox One came out on Feb 19. I don’t think there ever was a 360 TU that affected Extra Credit, since the counter glitch is the only glitch that has occurred on 360.
Warm up that pitching arm A-1 3xx/3. It started on the W8 pc last summer and carried over to the WP and xbox 360. I was able to get the achievement to pop on W8 pc and WP by completing a Weekly challenge. How long till they fix this bug?

Huh. Maybe there was another TU for it? Perhaps that fixed it undercover? I dunno. 
I started playing March 27. It worked just fine for me. Dang…this is Halo 4 DLC cheevos all over again!
EDIT: I JUST REMEMBERED! There was an issue for a while a month or two ago where dates and stats weren’t being recorded properly. Something tells me that’s why he’s got the date of 3-19-14. It’s possible he started playing earlier. Only way to be sure is to ask him, I guess.
Unfortunately, your success is not an indication that this glitch has been fixed. It was always a relatively rare glitch. I did not personally experience it, even though I played every version on launch.
I have not seen any theories on how to trigger this glitch. There is this report of the counters of Warm Up that Pitching Arm and Rookie Target Practice appearing to flip, but we don’t know what causes it to happen.
The counters can also get messed up after successfully unlocking Extra Credit. I recall a post of someone who unlocked Extra Credit on One, then the counter messed up on One. When he went to play on 360, he could not unlock Extra Credit because the bad counter had transferred. Unfortunately, I can’t find the post right now.

Ouch, that’s even worse than being locked out of both like me and others are.
I’m still hoping that 343i hasn’t forgotten about us.
How much longer? It’s been 2 months since this post. I first bought the game last summer and it’s still not fixed yet. Please fix this before you fix newer versions of the game. We helped this game lift off with or early support. Don’t leave us behinde. “Windows 8 and Windows 8 Phone users”
