Hey guys I have been playing Spartan Assault for the Xbox One. I have completed all other versions of this game. I have looked around and know this is a relatively common bug with The Master Chief Collection. However I am having it with Halo: Spartan Assault. Specifically on the achievement “Weapon of Choice”. The bar is maxed out and the achievement says “Done! Unlocking…” and it is just stuck there. I have tried several things to get it to pop.
I heard that if I post here there is a chance 343 Studious will see it and recognize it. I am hoping they will. I am one of the top people in my state. I am also known for my 100% completion so it would be really crappy to get screwed over here. Also if anyone knows of a fix for Spartan Assault let me know.

I heard that it had to do with 343. At least that is for this same issue but with The Master Chief Collection. You can read here where 343 is talking about about fixes and updates.

They said that the achievement should unlock when given 24 hours. Not sure if that is a way of telling people they are screwed or what. Also this is for an entirely different game so do not even know if the fix will apply to me. I am doing what I can to try and get the achievement to pop right now. This is really, really frustrating.

I had 8 of them stuck there in “Limbo” as I called it. It took nearly a month for them all to pop. But they all did. So I wouldn’t worry about it. They will eventually.

Sorry man… I am one of those paranoid kids lol. Probably going to lose sleep over a damn achievement. I guess this brings hope for me though so thanks for that. Because on all the other forums not one of the people came back to say that the issue was ever fixed. I am guessing you are talking about The Master Chief Collection MrMartini85? I hope mine will pop faster then that.
Under what circumstances did your achievements finally pop man? Did they just pop when you loaded the game up one day, or did you have to complete a mission, or redo the requirements or what? If I get really impatient I may try deleting my profile and recovering it back to my Xbox One.

They popped quite randomly. What I was doing at the time wasn’t related to the achievement. I was playing Halo 4’s campaign when suddenly an achievement I got from Halo 2 multiplayer popped.
But they all popped while I was playing the game, so maybe you need to do another run through of Spartan Assault. Although, I’ve heard someone on here say that one of their’s popped while playing Destiny.
So … really, I don’t know. I don’t really have any sound advice. I had gotten annoyed and just tried to ignore them knowing they would eventually unlock. But it’s terribly annoying.
EDIT: Do not try to redo the achievements. If it says “Done! Unlocking …” it’s done. You got it. You just have to wait. Doing it again won’t change anything (I tried).
EDIT #2: Here you go: someone else’s Xbox just started poppin’ cheevos I’d say it’s just a matter of time.

Thanks for the advice. I just tried two things that I thought may help. I tried unlocking another achievement and I also tried doing one the the Assault Ops Weekly Challenges. As sometimes this is what you have to do to knock loose the achievement on the other formats. However neither one of these had an effect on the “stuck” achievement. I guess I will just load the game up everyday real fast and see if anything happens. Really hope this does not screw my 100% Completion. As I will probably retire.
I guess I will post an update here. I got on later last night and went after the co-op achievements with my partner. One of the co-op based achievements did the same thing as the earlier mentioned achievement. However I got on today and the earlier one had automatically unlocked. It was sort of funny because it date stamped the achievement as yesterday and put it right where it belonged in the middle of my list. Instead of you know, putting it as the next achievement it backdated and put it where it was suppose to originally unlock.
So yeah it is just like MrMartini mentioned, basically a waiting game. However I still have one achievement that is glitched out. If it unlocks in the same fashion that the other one did I will have it later on tonight. This really sucks but at least I am getting them. I have been thinking about picking up The Master Chief Collection. Will this happen there as well? Is there any chance you can get completely screwed over?
Anyway I just thought I would come back and announce that things are looking better.
