Halo Spartan Assault and Strike - Blank screen after launching on Windows 11 (Unplayable)

I have purchased both the games (Halo: Spartan Assault and Halo: Spartan Strike) and I have an active PC Game Pass subscription.

Both games have similar problem, they will launch will show the opening logos then just a blank black screen.

Microsoft Answer Techs have concluded that it is a Windows 11 issue.

Hardware is compatible. Drivers, Windows and Apps are up-to-date.

Have tried all the troubleshooting steps. Windows Reset, Reinstalling apps.

Tried to reinstall the Gaming Services:

  • Windows PowerShell (Run as administrator)
  • In Windows PowerShell, type the following command and press Enter: get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers
  • In the same window, type the following command and press Enter: start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN
  • Install the app on that page and select Yes when you receive the User Account Control (UAC) prompt
  • Restart your device

Then did the following steps:

  • Apps & features > Xbox > Advanced options
  • Repair
  • Reset

My issue on Spartan strike is the game crashes every time after doing 2 missions. This is like literally after doing a second mission it will crash and it so annoying. As it always at mission completes. Then crashes and doesn’t save the progress change.

Fresh installation of Windows 11 and installing the game on internal drive has fixed the issue. Now it is playable. Probably some updates to Windows 11 resolved the issues I was facing earlier.
