I have previously play Halo: Spartan Assault on my Windows 8 PC and completed it fully… All achievements, all gold stars, all assault ops and all medals… yet when it came to playing on my Windows Phone 8 and Xbox 360 Versions the same achievements were glitched…
I cannot unlock the following:
Overrun- Switched On- Switched Off- Evacuated- Terminated- Archeology- Escort Service- Nowhere to Hide- Never Knew What Hit Them- Brute Force- Foot Soldier- Vidmaster Challenge- Silvertip- Vidmaster Challenge 2.0- Weapon of Choice- Powered by MJOLNIR- Extra Credit
And yet somehow a random few of achievements have been unlocked due to my previous playthrough on the Windows 8 PC…
These are:
Skull Combo- Prodigy- Recruit- Pension Plan- Distinguished Service- 117
Any assistance or patch on this matter would be very appreciated.
This is a pretty basic question to ask, but have you played through each of the missions in the PC and 360 versions from start to finish? Some achievements should unlock automatically, but others have to be earned. Another thing I would suggest you try is wait a few days and start up each of the games again, trying what I said above. Of course, if you’ve been having this issue for a while, it probably won’t make a lot of difference. Let me know if the above work for you or not.
Since progress carries over, some progress-based achievements will unlock automatically. However, completion achievements do not always unlock automatically. To unlock Overrun (Complete Operation A), you have to complete mission A-5 again. To unlock Powered by MJOLNIR, you have to use all Armor Abilities again. To unlock Brute Force, you have to complete D-1 according to the achievement parameters again.
And this only makes sense, since you’re playing the game on a different platform.

I have done that unfortunatelly… I played through the entire Operation A -F on my Xbox 360, and even attempt to get the mission-specific achievements… to which they resist to unlocking?

I have waited a few days… re-downloaded the Xbox 360 version… and attempted these achievements multiple times… still to no awail.
Am finding that I am not able to unlock the " A for Effort - Complete all Op F mission challenges"
The system I am playing it on is a Window Phone. I have completed all the Operation A to F and have unlocked half the challenges A to E, but Op F I have completed all the challenges for A for Effort as this was a shorter Achievement.
I plan to continue unlocking all the challenges A to E just don’t want to miss out on A for Effort Achievement.
Okay heres the update… And for anyone else having trouble with this…
I had completed Halo: Spartan Assault on Windows 8 PC, unlocking all achievements (except co-operative), all medals, all challenges/assault ops, all weapons used, all armor abilites, all gold stars on every mission of every operation (A-F)… so I completed the game 100%.
Then when the Xbox 360 version and Xbox One versions were released… I bought them however, due to just being on the Xbox Platforms… they experienced some bugs, some of which achievements and other unlockables wouldn’t sync… so it was broken, however due to Vektor0 assistance… it is fixed. And this is what you do if either of the four platorms (Windows 8 PC, Windows Phone 8, Xbox 360, Xbox One) don’t sync properly. 1. Go to Setting > Xbox Storage Device > Halo: Spartan Assault > Delete all data, this includes updates and saves. 2. Go to Account > Licensing Transfers > Accept… however this can only be done every few months, so only do it if you purchase a new console. 3. Go to Account > Download History > Halo: Spartan Assault > Re-Download… wait for it to download and it try the game.
If all goes to plan the games should be synced up again… and the achievements will unlock. Cheers again to Vektor0 and the Community Leaders for the assistance in this matter.
It sounds like I am having similar problems. I completed Spartan Assault on ISO before I had an Xbox live account. I then signed in with my xbox live account and some (but not all) of the achievements worked. Is there a solution for this?
Anyone know why when getting achievement on windows phone they don’t transfer to the service record anymore?
Quick note:
I just logged in to my service record to take photos to show the comparison. Here they are: Imgur: The magic of the Internet - windows phone Imgur: The magic of the Internet - service record
I noticed this morning that 2 achievments did change on my service record. The “A for Effort” and “Extra Credit” which were both completed but had not popped because of the common glitch. I set the clock back yesterday to 2014 and completed a weekly challenge and they popped, so there must be some communication between the phone and game server.
