Halo: simple yet, complex

Have you ever played a game where, when you first play it you think its great and you will love it forever, and then update after update come and take away the simplicity of the game that makes it addicting? Take Minecraft for example; when it came out it has just hills, mountains, forests, and deserts, plains, and oceans. Then they started adding in biomes, and modes, and mobs and, well… To me it just seemed like too much: if the producers would have gradually and slowly added in small changes that didn’t really change the overall gameplay (that people originally fell in love with) then it would still be as wide spread.
That’s the thing about Halo. The game has always stayed true to its roots and always will. That’s why Halo will continue to thrive as a game; when a new game comes out, if you narrow everything down and compare it to another Halo game, not much is different. That’s what makes Halo the hard hitting, Blam!, on going game thats called Halo. That’s why Halo is so magnificent that it can’t be described in words. That’s why Halo is so… Halo.
